what did he say? Goff can't rent or own a car? couldn't figure out what he was talking about lol

He can’t Rent a car on his own.
You have to be at least 25 years old to do that .

I posted that here because I remember Rome doing the sports "flash" during Hacksaws show and Hamilton getting super irritated with him when Rome started using his slang.

I have always liked Rome, I think he is singularly talented and the reason he doesn't have a big time national show is because he sticks to his opinions, and his producers DON'T dictate content. He does, and he is great at ti.

He can’t Rent a car on his own.

Or........have a BAMEX.

Why is Eric Mangini such a putz?

He refuses to acknowledge Goff is good.

I picture Jared in the picture behind Mangini squeezing his head like a grape.

not according to this
Not really..... I know I could when I was renting while in the military, at 23 years old. I think you just need additional backup, sacks of cash or some sort of rider option...

https://www.hertz.com/rentacar/misc/index.jsp?targetPage=Hertz_Renting_to_Drivers_Under_25.jsp

Hertz says this: It's a common misconception that drivers have to be at least 25 years old to rent a car.
Here's the truth: Hertz rents to drivers 20 years old and up.* Say hello to the driver’s seat.

Mangini's only claim to fame was being hired as a 35 year old head coach with immediate success in his first year. He lasted 5 years for the lowly Browns and Jets. I would say that puts him in the large pool of former but unsuccessful NFL head coaches - whose time has passed.

Yeah, he comes off as bitter...

Wow so I just checked and the dude went 33 - 48 with the Jets and the Browns.

Thats actually really impressive lol

So according to CC reading bewteeen the lines .. god is only good because of his running back ..receivers and the team around him

Yet according to everyone else in the media Patrick Mahomes is the next big thing ..and has nothing to do with having the likes of Kareem hunt Travis Kielce and Tyreek Hill on offense

I swear goffs to have to win 10 Super Bowls to even be considered as decent at this rate

The thing that Rome said that many people still may be missing....

As great as McVay is.. none of it matters - none of it

If your quarterback can't put the ball where it's supposed to be.

I used to chuckle when people said about Warner "well look at the WR's he has" as if he didn't have to get them the ball.

one thing that is clear to me.. Mangini hasn't watched a Rams game all year.

Anyone who watched the Vikings game saw Goff throw the ball at an All-pro accuracy level.

Yeah I'd agree with that based on what he said.

It was stupid to say that he questions whether or not "that is sustainable". Who would expect a game like that to be sustainable? It was a dumbfuck remark and seems to support what you say here.

I remember when I couldn't stand Rome (Everett interview). Complete turnaround in early 2000s. Really like him.

I think he is very good, one of the best in the biz when it comes down to actual analysis/opinion/interviews but the theatrics are still IMO not great. It's radio and I am familiar with how that works but I like things delivered in a more straightforward way.
