Rodgers is a smug pos. I remember last year after they beat us, he scoffed at our defense even though AD was playing at 50%. Fck him. I hope he gets blasted into the turf by a 400 pound lineman. On or off the football field. :sneaky:

Rodgers came in totally uncommitted and unprepared and it showed. He's just taking the money that's all. It wouldn't surprise me if he had a few more bad games. IMO when the Rams play them in week 12 if they aren't in the playoff hunt (in a weak division) he will just mail in his remaining games. Who knows he might not even be starting. Players not in game shape are prone to injuries.

Does anybody else feel like we would have tried to trade for Rodgers if we hadn't signed Stafford?
Rams reportedly asked about Rodgers, Packer said they wouldn't trade him. Probably asked about Watson too. This was part of what McVay called "due diligence," the same process which then led to trading for for Stafford.

I always thought that they should've traded him to Denver when they had the chance and taken their lumps with Jordan Love (who absolutely deserves a chance to start).

Rodgers is a fucking cancer. He can go host Jeopardy, for all I care.
I got to agree here. His age is a key factor and he was coming off an mvp season so if you want to trade an aging QB now is the ultimate time to do so. They could have gotten a ton for him save the $ and got someone who seems to not be totally into it.

Also if keeps playing bad his value will go down and that's on the Packers. The problem the Packers have is that there assessment of their division is spot on all the teams suck so hanging onto Rodgers made the most sense and deterred them from pulling the trigger in a trade.

Its just how the guy is. He will be back. Remember when he went with the "relax" comment .
He pulled out of it.

When you get over the smartest guy in the room attitude and his all around assholeness, he is still one of the best QBs around. He had a bad game or two last year as well. I think GB got out coached and NO has a top notch D. Detroit will get creamed and so will many other teams playing GB and their shit head QB.

Like I said before they should trade his ass to the Texans for Watson. Throw in some picks with it. He'll make them look stupid for a year or two then retire in a huff over some new BS and they'll have a young QB in Watson who learned an important life lesson.

I don't expect it to be that bad for the Packers. Saints were just on fire that day. Things change quickly in the NFL. A world beater one week and a poor performance the next. But I do have to wonder how Rogers supporting cast feels about all the drama he created in the offseason. That could affect a team as much as anything could.
