I'm leaning towards not going. I've been to every Ram game in Tampon since the 79 NFC Championship game except for last year's.

The asshat Tampon fans are literally the worst to be around. They are fucking posers to the highest degree. Since Tom decided to play there they've suddenly all come out of hiding. Fare weather doesn't begin to describe them.

My wife just asked me if I wanted her to find me some tickets. I said no... but I expect her to tell me she looked anyway. Win or lose... it will be miserable being surrounded by those inbreds in Tampon. I've pretty much made up my mind.

I know @Ramhusker is probably going. He's been texting me about the game since last week.

Don't know much about tampa. Do you know where a good area to try to find a room might be? Staying the weekend and didn't want to have to rent a car so restaurants and bars in walking distance would be nice.

I was at the Monday Night game in Tampon when we were the GSOT and they had Sapp and Brooks. There were old ladies cussing me worse than a sailor when I walked down the row to my seats. There are a number of hotels close to Raymond James Stadium. I can't tell you any of them but they should be easy to find. I live in Orlando so I normally don't stay down there... I just drive over to the game and back after.

The ones close to the airport aren’t too far away. Some are even walkable to the stadium. There are some budget hotels on Dale Mabry just north of the stadium that also are walkable and some have shuttles but are just a place to lay your head. No frills and low stars.
 
Looks like about 5 or 6 of us showing up for this one. My buddy and I are parking somewhere near the stadium and will be up for tailgating. We won’t get there until 12:30 or so though. We’ll be too late to be cooking anything, probably just bring a bucket of chicken or something and BEER!

Share where you are parking if you buy a space in advance and maybe we can all get together.

Will be walking to game from Hotel. If someone sees a guy in a #6 Hekker jersey don't hesitate to say Hi or offer up a cold one.

Does anyone have a location for tailgate picked out?

If that could be determined before game day, it seems there are several ROD members all looking for place to tailgate. Just need a spot.

I wish I could go.

@Ramhusker knows the spot where we have had several great tailgates.

The problem is... you'll have to get there very early if you want that spot and I just read Bo saying he might not be arriving very early.

The spot we have used even has an inside bathroom. And is directly next to the stadium. Walk across the street and you're in.

This game will be sold out and I bet fans will start tailgating extremely early. Unlike many stadiums that only open their gates for tailgating 4 hours prior to kickoff... many of Tampon's parking areas are not part of Raymond James' parking. You can start the party whenever the hell you want to down there.

We are gonna take an uber to the stadium so whoever has a tailgate spot let me know where

I hear you Brudda.

I've been receiving some major shit from a certain ex-buc defensive tackle when I told him that I am probably gonna watch this from from home. If he keeps it up I may be the 1st one down there for the game. LOL.

My wife keeps asking too. She's surprised. So there's still a very tiny possibility... but don't bet any real money on me showing up yet.
