We need to adopt what the NFL does for trades. When you trade for a pick you inherit the clock left on the pick. You shouldn't get a new 10 or 12 or whatever hours to make your pick. And yeah I realize this trade it happened but it hasn't on all of them

I agree with what you are saying, both of my trades today were finished within minutes of completion, as they should be. If you are trading up into a spot, you should have someone special that you are interested in drafting.

We already do that. And yes, it's happened on ALL of them that were applicable. To inherit someone's clock you must consummate a trade DURING the period when the trade partner is actually on the clock. The Saints inherited the Redskins clock on this trade. Of course it didn't matter in this case because they announced their pick simultaneously with their announcement of the trade.

Also, any pick made during off hours (2400 - 0700) will be considered to have been made at 0700.

Good pick, I had Jones and Clark next on my list, so I decided to move up a little and get one of them. I wasn't sure one would be left at #58.
