Good thought. I like the idea of members posting threads but also participating in those threads after they post them. I realize just posting a link and then moving on is easy but this is a member driven board. I really like it when members post threads and then discuss their points or ideas with those that respond to it. That is IMO what a vibrant board is all about. We could create simple news feeds but most of the stories or info about the Rams ends up here anyway. In fact, I have seen many times where members are posting virtually the same thread or info piece simultaneously. I would much rather see members rewarded for threads that they not only participate in but that really get the collective juices flowing (shaddup @-X- ).How about next year if you post a new thread that gets no responses and no likes - you lose $50? Let's promote quality - not just quantity!
I'm not a big mock guy but the one thing I think is cool about them is that members put some time into them, they generally generate replies, then the OP will come in and explain their thought process, which in turn seems to generate more discussion. It'd be cool if all threads were that way.
