Hopefully it's nothing that won't keep him out long. Many have questioned my opposition to SJD, particularly in a starting role. Well I've posted a clip where if you simply focus on #69 (SJD) you will see why. He's singled blocked by the C not an OG. Some may say he's stacking but that simply isn't the case. When the RB changes direction he never sheds the block. In each case he simply is released by the C. Worse yet he's moved off the LOS and even turned. No penetration at all. These aren't isolated cases. The occurred in every game. This is why even PFF was forced to grade Gaines higher than SJD.

Michael Hoecht who has just returned to the team at 6'4" 310 lbs certainly can play a 1T and IMO play it better than Day. He's stronger, and quicker than SJD and between him and Gaines could easily fill that position. It's the kind of play illustrated in the clip which convinced the Rams to sign Robinson as a clear huge upgrade at NT.

Imagine letting AD run loose on a running play heading straight towards him. If he wasn't so shocked that both linemen left him they would have lost a couple of more yards on the play.

COVID 19 ??? Football non-injury. Can’t disclose???

Wonder if Brian Allen makes the team ?? Me first vs We ???

Just a topic, because NFL players have a responsibility to keep football alive for each other.

A lot of doubters thinking the NFL doesn’t make it the full season.

I believe The Rams are doing this thing right & Reggie Scout deserves a lot of credit for ALL he DOES.

Goes way back to the St. Louis Days !!!

Go Rams !! Just want this SOFI thing to at least make it through 2020 for its first stadium.

Walked the streets to get there. Had my seabag & walked Century BLVD.Of course I had one of those Skeleton beers on Prairie

It’s all good !! Freedom to post.

Flew into LAX & walked to new stadium.
Brian Allen has COVID. Does Robinson.
NFL does not disclose on health matters. Far question.

I do ramble & make no sense at times.

Reggie Scott has been a backdown all the way back with Spags. He knew Demoff was lying to Ram fans back in the day as well. Had to plan for the move. Oxnard & all that stuff. He has helped in rehabs.

Just saying.

Todd Gurley got signed & Bell(Steelers) held out & went to the Jets for ??? Don’t get into contracts much. Just if the deal is good or not.

This post is a JOKE as well.. The Rams are in a good place.

In McSNead I trust. In property of LA Rams !! Cool Hoodies !!

This isn’t what I was hoping to hear. Sounds at least medium level, thing.

Sean McVay: A'Shawn Robinson to return from Active/Non-Football Injury List "at some point this season"

Rams defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson's placement on the Active/Non-Football Injury List on Saturday was a precautionary move after discovering an unspecified "condition" prior to the start of the team's acclimation period, head coach Sean McVay said on a video conference with local media Sunday morning.

"Based on the onboarding physical process and all that entails, we were able to come to some conclusions and learn some things that made this decision come about," McVay said.

While the discovery of this condition caught the team "by surprise," McVay said the 25-year-old defensive lineman is "doing really well." However, there's no timetable yet for his return.

"He's able to partake in meetings, get treatment, be around his teammates," McVay said. "We'll look forward to getting him back at some point this season. When that is, I don't know specifically."

Robinson signed a two-year deal with the Rams this offseason after spending the last four years with the Lions. During that time in Detroit, he amassed 163 total tackles, five sacks, 16 pass breakups and one interception in 58 games.
In light of Robinson's situation, McVay is grateful the team was able to re-sign defensive lineman Michael Brockers earlier this offseason. Like Robinson, Brockers has received praise for his contributions defending against the run.

"Thank the Lord," McVay said. "I'm so thankful we got him back in general.

Before we knew we were going to be fortunate to get Michael back, that was in large part – alright, you really liked A'Shawn Robinson, but it was kind of the vision before Michael got back on board that he was going to be able to fill some of those voids left by Brockers. So to be able to still have him is huge.

It's not just his production on the field either. Watching his growth as a leader and the way guys follow him, the way he goes about his business in everything that the day encompasses, he's a real joy to be around. Very thankful to have Michael back, without a doubt."

That's not a good report. I was hoping it was a week or two precautionary move.

It's good that Brockers is back. I think SJD can still improve as will Gaines. The UDFA rookies Hoecht and Williams will get more opportunities. They have a lot of potential. I still hope The Big A comes back soon and his problem is not serious.

Well that isn't good.

Truthfully, I just want football games. If every player to suit up week 1 ends up being a replacement scrub, fine, better than what I'm afraid we will get. Just put some guys in Rams jerseys and play football, I will watch.

That's not good. If he ends up missing half the season or more than that was a bust signing. Would've been better off saving that money.

This is a weird report, my gut first said...shit hope it’s not cancer or something. Then Mcvay said he could be around the team, which doesn’t sound like Covid or anything that might comprise his immune system.

Anyone want to give me a clue as to what kind of injury this could be? I know it would be pure speculation but I can’t wrap my head around it lol

If it's covid related, it could be that he was in contact with someone who was positive, and he's got to quarantine for a couple weeks. Hopefully nothing serious. Was looking foward to adding him to our D-line mix. We need him.
