Unless Robinson has fallen off a cliff, he's a better WR than Woods and does the blocking intangible stuff as well. Lot of people say we lost OBJ and Woods, we never played a game with both guys as the second we signed OBJ, Woods went down.
Im not saying they were wrong, Im saying you are.
There is no savings due to trading vs cutting since the Rams picked up the roster bonus. You dont have to be so testy about being corrected
Relax. I simply gave you my source. I have no pride of authorship here. I have not reviewed any contracts or made any independent investigation of the matter. I merely passed along what Spotrac reported.
To answer the original question, the Rams clearly didn’t believe Woods would be able to bring enough value for the reminder of his contract. They’ll get the Titans’ 6th round pick next year.
I think conversely, Woods was a great fit for Goff's strengths. Robinson is probably one of the best fits in the entire league for what Stafford likes to do.

I'm not sure Woods will shift around the WR positions much there. They are going to need him outside until Burks develops. I think their OL has gotten worse, which may force them to throw more, even if it's to Henry, anything to get him in space. They also drafted the slot receiver from UCLA, who is quite the route runner. I think he'll turn some heads as a rookie.
