I got a notification saying Cooks is cleared to go Monday. Did anyone see anything like that?

Cooks is probably a go, but Woods is the thread subject

McVay said he’s on track to play, people are acting like it’s a done deal which isn’t the case.

Thomas failed to catch that key pass. Reynolds looked pretty good, though. He doesn't quite have Woods' skill-set, but he's fine in a role that allows him to work the intermediate range, so he's not a poor replacement.
Thomas also made a key recovery of Kupp's fumble and caught 1 pass.. That's good in his only start.

We can also note that he was in position to make the recovery because his man ran right through him. I was a big Thomas fan back in the day, but if there's something you need in the NFL, it's reliable hands. Kid hasn't shown that.

He's not done yet either. I get your point though...but I have more patience. Lastly...Thomas had to dive in to get that ball. He was in position...and he did what a hustling player does.

Thomas really needs to perform when he gets his opportunities. He definitely has talent and speed but his hands have always been the big question mark. The drop the other night was in a crucial situation and his contract cap number will make him expendable in the offseason if he continues to underperform. You’re not going to pay big dollars for someone who’s only contribution is being a gunner on special teams. I hope he makes the most of his opportunities.

I would rather have Hodge out there and Webster can replace him as a gunner.

There is a reason he is 5th string - and he looked like a 5th string.

Wow, Thomas gets his first real action as a receiver in years, drops a pass (it was a catch, btw), and some of you are hating on him. God forbid he might have been a little nervous. He should be perfect, just like we are, or throw him to the lions! Yes, I am a homer.

I'm not pro or con on Thomas...but let's not cherry pick either. Kupp's fumble was just as crucial as Thomas' drop earlier...BUT Thomas' recovery of Kupp's fumble was huge!

We've all seen players with ability take longer than others to develop. I'll trust the staff with whether he goes or not...but as it stands by me he did well against the Bears.

Looks like he'll play. I know McVay wont tip his cap but if he's in the building he'll probably end up playing.

1. You smoking some goooood shit if you think that was a catch.
2. Oh he was nervous? what were we thinking for criticizing him.
3. No one is expecting anyone to be perfect.
4. If we are comparing him to us... Well some people on our forum certainly could make that catch (while being nervous!)
5. I didn't see anyone saying he should be cut (thrown to the lions?).
