Thank youIt does seem like he is on the injured list fairly often but Havenstein is usually out there on Sundays.
Checked regular season stats. In 2019, he had a knee injury and went on IR for the final seven games. However, in his other eight seasons, Rob Havenstein has missed a total of just ten games ... that's just over one game-per-year; and all the games played were starts.
He has not missed a start in the Playoffs.
I would recommend not giving air to any ‘never Hav-ers’. Hav has obviously been a good to very good RT in the NFL for 9 years. Anyone that doesn’t recognize this is being selfishly and foolishly subjective.Old-Not-Dead read this post, and simply could Not wait ...
... he went to a cemetery, jumped in an empty grave and turned-over half a dozen times.
Big Rob is also a very easy guy to root for.Been a fan since he was drafted as he is local to me and I watched him play a couple times in HS. I also agree that for the most part, we take him for granted as fans. He just quietly goes about his business of stonewalling sucker's and making truck lanes in the run game. Give that man his flowers!
We went to a Rams game in Washington back in 2015. His rookie year. We saw a 6' 8" elderly man that I assume was his grandfather. Rob is from Maryland so makes sense his grandpa could make that game. He was huge and was wearing a Havenstein Rams jersey. He was among other players parents. I remember seeing, who had to be Tre Mason's mom, wearing his jersey.Big Fan of Big Rob... and he is one BIG MFer.
I met his Dad when we played in Jax several years ago. He was just as big (or BIGGER) as his son... and what a super down to earth nice guy he was. I suspected this giant man was Rob's Pops because he was wearing a Wisconsin hat, so I just went up to him and asked him. He talked to me and my son for at least 15-20 minutes. Awesome dude.
Big Rob doesn't receive enough credit for what he does and means to our beloved Rams.

This was 9 yrs ago and he still looked old. And I am 6'5, and he towered over me, even hunched over a bit.His Dad had grey hair and he did look older. Maybe it was him because he is at least that tall. I'm 6'2" and I had to look up to look him in the eyes when we shock hands. His hand was like a big mit. LOL
Who knows though... maybe his Grandfather is that big too. Probably is. LOL

I'm sure if you did a Google search you'd find a pic of his Dad to confirmThe Dad had to weigh 350 - 400... and he did hunch over a little. Does this sound similar?
The Jax game was quite a few years ago too.
