He was so much fun to watch and listen to.

I started watching sports in 1968 and I can confirm the Rickey was easily one of the best I ever saw in my life time. He is what Bobby Bonds could/ should have been had he really applied himself. While Barry was clearly the better player, Bobby was as gifted as anybody I ever saw.

I wasn't a big fan of his when he played for the A's and the Yankees, being a Dodgers fan, but he was a great player.
