What fairness? This is the NFL. The NFL is not fair. Produce or get out. Oregon isn’t a great offensive school? Did he not put up great numbers and develop in a Pro style offense? Stahp.

All the dumb ass draft pundits were saying there would be few QB’s taken this draft and it was obvious multiple would be drafted and what do the so called draft gurus here do, parrot the media twits to try and sound smart.

It’s these guys that act like some sort of scout and parrot whatever they hear in the mainstream media so they can have something to talk about but have zero idea of football fundamentals and what’s actually important. And the little they do get is from someone from the TV broadcast they watched that night from an Andrew Whitworth unlike some dumb shit like Collinsworth.
You're right, there is no difference between getting coached by Sean Peyton or whatever abortion of a coach the Giants would subject him to.

Maybe that’s why the Broncos drafted him? Because he had the most experience of games started ever in college football? But yeah, the geniuses know everything. Denver is taking an OT. Retarded.

Everyone is wrong all the time.
The "experts" and "draft gurus" are the worst though you are right.
If scouts and front offices weren't wrong a lot you wouldn't have UDFA on any roster, let alone starting. You have starting rosters made up entirely of 1st and 2nd round picks.
Guys like Puka wouldn't fall to the 5th round.
The Rams didn't know what they had....they may have really liked him....but, they didn't know what they had or they would not have risked taking him that late.
I am waiting for Kipers big board to be mostly right......ever....
So it goes.

Every two to three years it seems you get a QB who gets a bit overlooked by teams. This past draft Nix was that QB. Broncos getting him at 12 was a steal.

I think the NFL ebbs and flows with this shit. This next draft due to the Broncos finding their QBotF at 12 you can bet teams will nuke the position a bit more, and maybe a team with a need says fuck it and takes one of those guys who aren't the top group in the consensus. Then you'll get some busts and next year they'll flip back to overlooking a guy maybe.

Nix is impressive though. The kid has obviously worked his ass off and you can see it on the tape. So it's not all Asshole Face. The player deserves some credit too.

I don't expect much this upcoming offseason, just Warren in the draft and Higgins in FA. :laugh3:

I doubt Warren will make it where the Rams draft position falls. That guy is legit. I've watched 5 games of his, he's a gamer and will produce in a pro system IMO.

Produce or get out? You have a short memory. Fisher-Bradford is a great example. Fisher held Bradford back. Bradford played better elsewhere. Caleb Williams is in a crappy situation while Nix has Asshole Face. Payton has adjusted his offense to work to Nix strengths. Their offense is more short passing just like Oregon’s. It’s not an amazing scheme. It’s been done for years and helps a QB with a weaker arm. It also neutralizes a pass rush. But it’s very reliant on YAC.

The Bears put a lot on Williams shoulders right away. Daniels has gotten to play an offense that’s got some college similarities. It’s eased his transition.

No. What held Bradford back was bad luck with injuries. He couldn’t stay healthy and eventually between that, Fisher having to play shitty back up QB’s and finishing with his 7-9 bullshit, and Bradford being the recipient of the last huge rookie contract which hindered this team financially.

Not saying Fisher didn’t have his own problems (eventually getting high school offensive coordinators as Gurley put it), but In regards to Bradford it was his health issue that eventually ushered in his doom with us.

And what was the catalyst for Bradford being traded out of here? Produce or get out, the combination of him and Fisher didn’t produce a single winning season. I’d have to say you are the one with a short memory my friend.

Fisher and his OC held Bradford back. They turned him into Captain Checkdown. Fisher was terrified of turnovers. I can’t believe you don’t remember how stifling his offense was. He couldn’t get a good OC to come to the Rams because he was so heavy handed with the offense. Once Bradford left he was throwing down field like we thought he would.

Did someone hack your account?

Bradfords full years weren’t bad years. His two injury riddled years he didn’t finish with much but his problem was staying healthy.

Fishers offense became stifling as you remember when he was capped out with Rob Boras, which compared to those 4 OC’s should even be holding their clip board not to mention be on the sideline.

Years and a final sour taste have deluded your memory banks my friend. But I don’t blame you, Rob Boras can do that to a fella!

I'd love for the Rams to get Tyler Warren. He reminds me of Tucker Craft and Michael Mayer. But, he's no weapon like Brock Bowers so I probably won't be championing for a TE in the first round this year. They have just got to sign re-sign Alaric Jackson and hopefully a worthy CB falls into their laps in the first round.

No. Shurmur started the check down offense. Schottenheimer continued it. McDaniels never meshed with the Rams. None of those OCs deserve to be lauded for taking the Rams passing game to a respectable level.

Schottenheimer and Shurmur offenses were as much ass as Boras.

Verse is going to be a top edge for a decade (barring injuries). Bowers will be a top TE for a decade (barring injuries). You couldn’t go wrong, but tbh I feel with the loss of AD, Verse had to be the pick. I wouldn’t trade him for anyone.

In this context, I think the answer of who's the best pick has to be Verse. Edge is a more valuable position than TE so if we're going to take a decade long view, gotta go with the edge defender.

Not according to the stats. That’s solely opinion.

I won’t die on this hill for this 3 coordinators but those are the facts of what happened and the reality of it is Bradford did pretty well when healthy.

His stats were better with other teams.

The Rams already have someone like Brock Bowers on the roster. His name is Puka Nacua.
