The Los Angeles Rams were fortunate to return most of their coaching staff in 2025, keeping both of their coordinators on Sean McVay’s staff. That could change this offseason, however.

Chris Shula and Mike LaFleur could both draw interest from teams searching for their next head coach, and Shula’s name is already being connected to one vacancy. According to The Athletic, Shula is one of many candidates the Tennessee Titans plan to reach out to during their search.

Other names include Matt Nagy, Lou Anarumo and Jesse Minter, among several others.

Tennessee looks like a full rebuild with an owner who won't be patient for it.

Sean's history has shown that he attracts future HC material.

Shula is as replaceable as every OC/DC we have lost since 2017.

It is a fun name to have on your team if you around my age.

If your talking about DON ?

Aubrey Pleasant would get The DC position right away & might even be a better choice ? He left to Detroit & Shula is one of Mcvays besties.

If the Preston shows us Ram Fans anything,it’s the respect Sean has for Aubrey

I am honestly not talking about anyone.

History is all I am going on.

McSnead always deliver in this department.

With the exception of our ST coordinator it appears.

But they grabbed a proven assistant!

I would jump all over that one, if I was him.

Ownership and front office definitely have some issues... but you have a QB, imo, that can be a real factor in the future. That's so big.

At this point not sure if our Shula is ready to be a head coach.
leave him with McVay for a couple more years.
While you are at it, give McVay a Phat raise.
Then pay Sula "almost" like a first year head coach.
Keep the band together.

Yes - he even got Scott Frost.

Joe D did all right.

The other Joe (John Bon)had to go,hope he is alright in life.

BONES was the last HC before Sean Mcvay became a Ram.Youngest ever & Wade Phillips was his mentor. It helped he knew Wades son Wes.Demoff made that a point & Mcvay was smart enough to know that.It was a Great Fit.

That season was TOUGH!! The loss against the 9ers was the most painful under Mcvay.

Bones had to GO !! Mcvay needed the training wheels off & Bones lossing that Arizona Game was the last straw of any chance he kept him in the staff.

Base found Ethan Evans. That has been his only real saving Grace.Last season without Karty going on a hit streak The Rams loss..
I might get some insite on Ben Kotwica today ? Only have a chance to say hi to a friend whose son punts in D”2.He’ll only know of him if at all.
I like this move & thought it was going to happen months ago.

Lafleur, Taylor and O'Connell are all offensive minded coaches. All 3 have made the playoffs. One went to the Superbowl. Liam Coen's an offensive coach on the verge of the playoffs in his first year.

Staley and Morris are defensive coaches. One fired and one mired in another losing season. Sean's OC's have had success. DC's not so much.

Losing Shula isn't gonna change things. McVay is probably more involved in the defense than people think.

I would think that Shula will at least get interviews, this time around... and we'll see if he knocks those out of the park.

Jourdan confirmed this year's ago. After McVay fired Wade and hired Staley, she reported he did that so he could get more involved in the defense.

He's the one who wanted to go to the Fangio-like system. He's very involved.
