I'm not going to hold my breath. I have a feeling if anything happens, it'll be us getting screwed by holding calls while AD gets tackled over and over again without the refs even giving it a second glance.
I think the refs from the Lions game got that memo a week early. There were several holding calls on Lions OL trying to neutralize Donald last week. None of which looked any more flagrant than numerous other non-calls in previous weeks. The Donald Effect continues to scale new heights.
Wait... the NFL has instructed the refs to now call holding when an o-lineman HOLDS.
Makes you have to ask yourself what they were INSTRUCTED to do previously!

If they called all the holds the games would never end. All fans want are the blatant holds to be called.
Nothing's ticks us off more than refs missing blatant holds and then calling ticky tack holds or non holds. Case in point a call yesterday against the jags where fournette ran for a 1st down. They called it on flowers and the replay showed a text book block and nothing else stood out either. How they call that and don't call all the choke holds is what causes frustration.

It's been the same rules for a very long time, holding is easy to spot.
I think opposing coaches are simply instructing their players to hold AD.
Shaq was very hard to officiate and AD seems to be the same way. Lets see what happens and if the refs can man up and throw more flags even though the viewers hate it.
Unless they call us for holding Mack more often than they call them for holding Donald.I only see this helping us.
