Seem surreal to be hoping the defense can do something, anything, so the offense can keep us in the game. Sort of the flip side to last few years.

We're better than last year, with room to grow, but without a lot of improvement this isn't a playoff team. Getting to middle of the pack status would be an improvement, however, from seasons past.

Maybe shore up the D and O line in draft and free agency, hope other offensive pieces keep gelling.
