Funny, before I had to do a conference at UCB, I had no idea they were so close to the water.

My little brother is heading there with his girlfriend in a few weeks, hopefully he'll take some photos, but knowing him he wont.

Good shot.

My Grandfather graduated from Cal in 1915. After watching the Big Game @ Stanford one year his group went to dinner in S.F. and took the ferry back to Berkeley. It would be another 25 years or so before the Bay Bridge would be built. My mom found a stash of letters he had written to his folks who had sold their ranch In Sherman Oaks in "06 so they could move closer to Hollywood High School where he would also attend.

I was out walking the dog last night and noticed the rocket launch. These pics aren't that great cause the dog was trying to continue his walk and I kept trying to stop and take a pic. Anyway... all the launches are cool, especially the night ones.

Those cliffs are amazing! I can only imagine, more impressive in real life.

They really are, incredibly beautiful. The entire west coast of Ireland is so gorgeous really, most places you go will be stunning.

These are cliffs along the Bay of Fundy, in Nova Scotia. There is an operating lighthouse just off to the right, but not visible, at that white building.

This shot is with the tide down, as the tides come in the water will lap against these.

I’ve seen seals in the water at this location.
