I figured another type at the level of Henderson could be good insurance. It didn’t have to be a Gurley. Carter would have been nice. Ernest Jones has good instincts as a linebacker but he has been tackling like Ogletree. He drag down tackles. I’m not sure that he was a player the Rams had to have.

I'm not sure of anything (that I'd bet my house on). I'm sure we are down 2 running backs since June. So, yeah, IF they'd have taken one higher the angst might not be as bad. And still in the end, even if they had taken one higher, they'd probably still be watching the waver wire for another RB come final cuts. Agree?

Right now we have Hendo, Xavier Jones, Funk and Anderson. Not exactly the plan back in June so let's see what they do....who they get....last year 3 running backs ran the ball......in 2019, 3 guys ran the ball and a fourth (Kelly, had 3 attempts). McVay doesn't use more than 3 running backs so hopefully we'll be okay.

I would hate to just give away draft picks like that especially in this draft. I do think though the rams may recoup a pick or 2 by trading Rapp which seems like it's trending that way. When did we start trending toward trading Rapp? I've not heard anything of that nature. I don't think any of the other guys fill that heavy hitter role at safety.

Idiot bloggers have created a fictional situation that the Rams would trade a starting quality SS for a rotational RB. Give me a break.

The Rams just traded for Sony Michel who will be the Ram's RB choice they would have made next year. That said I see a possible long term relationship with Sony in the same role Malcolm Brown filled for years. This gives them that solid between the tackles, RB to play that #3 RB position long term. He's not a breakaway threat, but he's good enough to move the chains. Problem has now been resolved.

Reeds and juji Hughes emergence is why they are saying this to go along with Scott.

I personally like Rapp a lot but if you can deal from strength to shore up a weakness then I trust and Snead. So we shall see. Could all just be jibberish too lol.

I'd guess that at a minimum the starting point would be in excess of what the 5th year would have been had New England exercised it. 4.5 mill.
