The book is one of my favorites by King, and I enjoyed The Long Walk as a movie because you grew to care about those boys, every one of them, and it was a gut punch when every one of them died. That's the thing about Stephen King movies; they do tend to change a bit of the endings.

Thought that the young actors sold their job well, and I enjoyed the movie. I don't think it was an easy 10/10, but 8.5/10? Certainly.

I'll never understand why they change the characters, & the ending and the overall theme.
Alas...

Did you like the ending of the movie, The Mist, or not? Did you like that the little boy lived in Cujo?

Stephen King movies have always changed around things from the books. I thought that the theme was intact in the end; it wasn't like it was The Dark Tower movie where literally everything was changed.

Honestly thought that it was a very good movie. It wasn't perfection, but it was a very good movie.

Well.... I WAS going to read the book. You should probably edit that or put a spoiler alert thing over it before u ruin it for someone else. And yes, I realize the book was written forever ago, but some people like to read a book before seeing a new movie based on it. Based on dieters rating, I'll probably just skip both now, haha. Not sure how I never read this book actually. Thought I had covered most of King's work.

It was a Richard Bachman book, I read it back in college.

I didn't spoil the movie, but I did word it wrong. The book was literally one of the first books Stephen King posted in his pseudonym. The Long Walk was based on the Bantam Death March. I worded it wrong; I meant to say when the boys you grow to care about die, but I didn't spoil the movie, I didn't state anything about any of the plot, and I tried my best not to spoil.

A house of dynamite

I don’t really know what to say here.
Agreed.
I usually enjoy Bigelow's movies....what was your basic take on it?
How do I say this....

It reminds me of the old joke. How do you keep an idiot in suspense?

I'll tell you later.....

Or in this case, not at all.

I did like it - and I know this is part of the point - but I wish I saw more of it. I don’t know how to do all the spoiler hidden text stuff so I’m trying to be coy.
Click on the 3 dots (more options icon) at the very end of the above symbols - then click on spoiler icon

They type Title of spoiler

Then type in the message you want to hide where your cursor goes.

My wife hates it when we are watching something that happened in real life and I mention what happened in that story and she goes - you just ruined the movie for me.
