Peters is really working and not giving up. What more can u ask,
Less touchdowns given up. More pass breakups. More interceptions.
I don't have a huge problem with his play, by the way. I'm just saying, that's what more could be asked.

Obviously the answer to this mystery is that the Rams are a poorly coached 10-1 football team. Everyone knows NRC is better than our other options, so McVay and Phillips must be inexcusably choosing to play worse players like that bum Marcus Peters more and let the defense struggle because they dont care and dont know how or maybe its because they just like tick off Rams fans...
This 10-1 team is winning without much help from the Corners and Safeties. I don't think I'd be including that group when giving credit for the Rams current record. And I don't really see a problem with fans wondering how and why, especially when our highest rated corner is on the bench.
We all expected much more from this great Wade Phillips defense.
The real mystery comes with Robey-Coleman. He played just 13 snaps, the third time in the last five games he’s played less than 30 percent of the defensive snaps. The Rams clearly liked the matchups with Hill and Shields better, but Robey-Coleman has played well this season. this is something to watch.
You're barking up the wrong tree. I don't give a single crap what PFF's grades say. Let them disagree with me strongly. Marcus Peters is a better CB than Troy Hill. Troy Hill is a liability. Peters is like Janoris Jenkins early in his career. When he plays smart, he's a hell of a CB. When he plays selfish, stupid, and reckless, he hurts this team. He's been playing smarter of late.
And for the love of god, don't do that nonsense where you end an opinion with "Fact."
NRC needs to be on the field more and Marqui Christian less. We run that weird nickel formation with 3 safeties at times and it hasnt been working. I hope with Talib coming back Wade goes to the drawing board to get things fixed.
Agree about NRC. Judging from the snap counts and from earlier this season Christian comes in for Barron's LB slot not a DB.NRC needs to be on the field more and Marqui Christian less. We run that weird nickel formation with 3 safeties at times and it hasnt been working. I hope with Talib coming back Wade goes to the drawing board to get things fixed.
From what I have seen Marqui Christian is not taking snaps from our Nickle corner NRC. MC has been taking snaps from Barron. Yes MC does play safety in certain situations usually is when safety LJ gets the assignment of covering a shorter slot WR. go rewatch the Saints gm too.Right??? Christian is terrrrrrrrrrible, he looks lost every time he's on the field. I don't get the love for him over NRC.
Most of Marqui Christian's snaps this season (which are up dramatically) have come from playing the Mark Barron position. Wade is trending that MC (Strong Safety) replaces MB (inside LB'er) on passing downs.NRC needs to be on the field more and Marqui Christian less. Stats don't lie, but it also doesn't factor who a CB is drawing in their numbers. Peters has been drawing top wideouts. Hill would have even worse numbers believe it or not, had he been in there as CB1.
the overall completion percentage by wide outs he covered was 60%, its now more than double that.
yep, christian has not been playing NRC's position. He's been playing along side Joyner as a safety, and has been pretty decent IMO.From what I have seen Marqui Christian is not taking snaps from our Nickle corner NRC. IMO MQ has done a much better job in tackling than MB has but he is not the future nor the answer for the Rams.![]()
The scale they use to grade the percentages isn't a 0-100% scale. Its also a passer rating grade, more than just purely looking at catches to noncatches.Hold on. WRs that Peters covers are catching more than 120% of passes thrown to them?
Please explain how that works.

That wasn't nearly enough.
How the hell do you not grade completion percentage on more than a 0% to 100% scale? It's completion percentage. What percent of passes did you catch? You can't catch more pass than thrown to you. Not possible. Who is doing this statistical analysis?

Haha you don't care about facts??? Fact is Hill has given up less TDs and less completion percentage than Peters. Of course you don't care about facts. You obciously have a boner for peters and that's fine but don't sit here and tell me that it's not a fact because it is. Stats are factual data
I updated it to explain a little more. Im not good at math at all, but I know you can grade percentages on more than just a 0-100% scale when looking at a combination of analysis that needs to be taken into account. Bc a 0-100% scale is too simplistic of a scale to represent everything being taken into account. PFF is the source.
Considering Hill doesnt cover top wide outs makes it a moot point to argue.
