It is when you are wearing 100k of jewelry around thinking you/re in a rap video for a living.

So if a person who happens to have a nice chain and maybe a watch on is held up at gun point it’s now their fault because they think they’re living in a rap video. By that logic I’m guessing you would think it’s funny and apparently okay if a woman on Rodeo Drive gets robbed at gunpoint for her 100 k wedding ring. She must have thought she was in a rap video huh. Still funny? Interesting that in your first post you also mentioned culture. Are you referring to race? Labeling?

I have 3 firearms at home. 9mm Browning highpower that was my dad's carried it all through WWII. I don't carry it and it's simply in the gun safe. A Ruger 9mm I carried when I transported money for my businesses and never any other time. Yes, I had a permit.

Home defense is strictly my Rossi 12 gauge (3" shells). I have a box of 0 buckshot in the night stand. It's very good out to 30-40 yds (watermelon test). Bought it years ago used, cheap but it's been very reliable. I trained Maggie on both the Ruger and the Rossi. Only needed the Rossi once to stop a home invasion in OC years ago. One shot was all it took. My former wife needed it when I was at work. Yes my ex wife was trained on both the Ruger and Rossi.

I'm a gun owner but also an advocate for responsible ownership. Drivers need to be trained to drive a car. But no training is required to own a gun. That is fucking weird. If someone is trained and licensed I would have zero problem with it.

When I worked in LA at the Wilshire district, we had a police officer come in and tell us what we should do when walking in LA

He told us to walk with a purpose and always be aware of your surroundings. He stated that most robbers are looking for people who appear to not know where they are or looking down not paying attention to anything around them

Anyway - I have just one more thing to say on this matter.
