Great job by the defense. a lot of times, a 2nd stringer comes in and defense lets up. But not today. And Cooper... I know you came back last week, but son, we are glad you are back in the lineup.

I feel bad for the Saints. Brees getting hurt sucks. Hopefully, he's back soon. Glad we got the W. I didn't expect us to win this one. But we had some things break our way, and Goff really stepped up in the second half.
This. Its like you're in my head. I really liked how Goff stepped up down the stretch. The TD to Cooks was beautiful. COOOOOOOOOPER! Love that guy. Great W. Brees is a class act-hope he gets well quickly. HORNSUP!

Happy with the win. Couldn't watch the game but followed along in the game thread. You would have thought we were getting our hat handed to us. God it is nice to finally be so spoiled again we can bitch about our team while winning. F the Saints and their fans. I smell a lawsuit.

Undoubtedly helped by the injury to Brees but what an outstanding performance by the D. Kamara totally bottled up and coverage excellent. One poor play when Smith ran past some non-tackles but overall brilliant.

If I'm Snead I'm on the phone in the morning looking for some OL help.

Fingers crossed the rust is coming off and Goff will have gained some confidence with an improved 2nd half.

Huge game next week as I think the Browns will blow hot and cold all year.

The Saints fan has gone to bed, I'm cracking opening a beer as don't think I'm getting any in the bedroom this week!

how about mason mount?

Glad we pulled away because I couldn't stomach another Saints referee call storyline.

HUGE 2nd half by the offense to come out strong and run balanced, but the defense played great all day. When Talib was in the lineup last year our D was pretty damn good, we forget he missed majority of the year. Clay Matthews has looked great and not getting enough love, and Taylor Rapp is just a good young football player. Fowler, Littleton I mean our D might be better this year once we settle in.

I hate Asshole Face and the Saints and hope Seattle stomps them next week too.

So happy the Rams put some distance between them and the Saints on the scoreboard, so now the narrative that they got hosed on the bad call (and it was a bad call) pretty much loses any legitimacy. You know the Aints fans would have jumped all over that. As it is they will be drawn to the "we lost Brees" excuse, and while that's no doubt significant, out D was playing damn good football throughout. His presence would have made some difference, but the way the D balled out today, I don't know if it would have made enough difference to put them over the top. And pretty much nobody else on their team stepped up when Brees went down. And to add, I feel as sorry for them losing him this game as everybody did for us during the years we were starting guys like Kellen Clemens, Austin Davis, and Shaun Hill at QB.

Wish the offense could put together a full 60 minutes, right now they seem to be a second half team. That being said, Cooper Kupp needs to get WR1 money, stat.

Satisfying win overall. Now lets go beat the Browns to make it 3-0.
