Did you see the death stare he gave Fournette after the third dropped pass? (And it was actually a shitty throw from Tom.)

BTW, one final thing I want to mention, hat's off to our rookies. Fuller picks Brady off twice. Akers and Jefferson both score TDs.

One thing that needs to be said is that since Staley has turned up the heat with the 5 man rush and blitz packages, lots of QB's have rushed throws resulting in lots of incompletions. We saw more than a few from Brady tonight. That is what pressure does. That's the type of winning defense we need. The fruits of pressure often goes unseen.

On a Bucs forum, they were actually blaming the refs for this. Did they even watch the game?

Like, for what? I was honestly surprised we didn’t get some roughing the passer calls Just because we actually touched Brady and Boger has a hard on for him.

That's absolutely reediculous. What could they possibly be complaining about??? Anyone see us do too much PI or somthing without getting called?? The EZ saftey / strip / TD called dead trumps anything ---- anything ---- they could possibly complain about.

The Tampons had all these great receivers and our defense stepped it up big time. Our receivers played great I don't think we deopped a ball.

This is the thing I love about Goff. He his Ice in his veins and doesn't Cower when a pick happens. The first one I wouldnt put on him. The second one is questionable, but regardless he never got scared and packed it in, he never does. It is Mcvay that gets conservative. Goff has mad confidence in himself and always has.

See I look at it the other way, the 1st pick just cant happen on a screen. If you're under pressure throw it into the ground when your RB has his back to you, you cant lead him like that on a screen when he's not even turned around yet. But the 2nd INT was an aggressive read, and an aggressive throw. Yes it got picked, but he decided to throw into a tight window and put the ball out in front where it needed to be, the timing was just off with Woods. I would take those types of INTs all day over a plain inaccurate throw, or a terrible decision like Brady's were. Yes we all wish Goff would play a great complete game without turning the ball over, but he was dealing all night tonight. And he had zero running game to help him.

And there's no excuse at all for McVay to be that conservative the way Goff was throwing the ball tonight. 3rd and 8 is very doable in that situation and all but wins the game on that drive. More times than not, when you choose the passive decision vs the aggressive one where you're dictating things, it comes back to bite you. Good thing we have the best D coordinator in the league and he saved McVays ass. Check on how Staley disguised coverage on that last play:

The officiating wasn’t horrible but they let Mike Evans get away with a lot of pushing off in the first half and that play in the end zone was a fumble or at worst should have been holding unless an arm around AD’s neck from behind is a legal block.

Other than those calls the game was ok and I’m glad we beat Brady and Bruce Arians

Yeah I like the way we match up with the Aints. We'll probably see them in the playoffs and if we have Whit we're gonna beat that ass.

What's funny is how even though this team isn't as explosive it's actually built better for the playoffs. We just gotta hope lady luck favors us the rest of the way with injuries.

The D is now the real strength of the team. The O is not as explosive as it was when we had Gurley and Cooks, but when it executes at a high level it can match the contribution from the D.

When both sides of the ball play well, the Rams win against anyone.

Looks like the Rams are #2 Seed in the playoffs.....They'll have at least one game at home with that seeding..

I still say his calm and cool demeanor is what gets him in trouble at times. He can have 6 guys coming after him and he sometimes just takes his time looking downfield to make a play and gets hit and fumbles.

So it is not a case of getting skitterish, his Calif cool needs to speed up at times more than he does.

Tonight is the first night all year I have thought that we might actually have a Super Bowl caliber team. After shutting down the midget, I thought "well, the defense is legit. Let's see if our offense can handle the Bucs' defense and pressure." I'm not making any guarantees, but teams that win it all generally are sound all around. We have a good offense and a great defense. Outside of the Steelers, how many other teams can say that?

The pressure wins games as it did tonight.

But I'm also very impressed with how Staley has players plugging the gaps at the line and correctly playing the coverage in the secondary. Rams used to regularly lose games with breakdowns at both levels. I think this is not solely due to Staley bringing more pressure, but a function of the players playing together enough and improving in their understanding of the scheme

I wonder what he was referencing?A dig at Evans?

Nah... the refs were doing him dirty, early, and it REALLY felt like the refs were trying to keep the Bucs in it. Two really bad PI calls on Ramsey... I mean, Evans initiates contact and throws Ramsey out of the way and Ramsey gets called for PI?

Was nuts.

I said the same exact thing to my wife. We get absolutely no fucking respect. Great job all around tonight. Goff was fantastic! Honestly, I think all 3 of his turnovers were not necessarily his fault.

That's fine.

Let everyone overlook us.

They'll have to look away to avoid looking at us at the end... when we're hoisting the Lombardi...
