I think Rams are in a great situation. The Rams are so stacked with talent as a team, any possible weakness with the linebackers won't be noticed as much. When you coach a team, you play to your strengths. And, Rams defense is stacked to the hilt on the line and in the backfield. At this point wouldn't an average, but decent, linebacker core be sufficient? I think so. I like our group of linebackers. I think Barron will surprise people in this defense. Also, throw in the fact that Wade has a great history of success getting the most out of, wait for it, Linebackers!

Going into the draft, amazingly Rams only have two things to deal with. Adding linebackers and overall team depth. Rounds three and four; perfect place to draft players to fill these roles. Even though Rams don't have a pick in the first two rounds, I'm more interested in this draft than any other in recent history. This draft is going to round out a very special team. Excitement galore here in LA!

Yes...linebackers and depth at "other" positions, especially OT for the near future replacement, or possible unexpected injury to Whitworth. Maybe find a center for same issue with Sullivan.

8 picks can certainly add 3-4 ILB/OLB/EDGE players and some depth at key positions of need (OT/OC/NT) - it cannot add overall team depth.

They may want to take a safety somewhere in this draft because they seem a little thin there and who knows if they can resign Joyner for 2019.

Wish this guy would have played for the Rams. He had 1,381 sacks. :dizzy:

That's almost 9 sacks a game. I'd pay somebody QB money for that kind of performance. If I had that kind of money of course.

9 sacks per game? That's how many sacks I have when slide into Walter Mitty mode and live out Heaven Can Wait, except as an OLB like Lawrence Taylor...

Ah, "Everything" is not the only way to define the word "Overall"!

Definition of "Overall" (adverb) in general, generally, mostly, all things considered, on average, in (the) large, on the whole, predominantly, in the main, in the long term, by and large, all in all, on balance, generally speaking, taking everything into consideration

I don't think with a 7 round draft the Rams are going to add depth to all 22 positions...daah!

Rather, generally speaking, predominantly, on the whole...
Huh?

Thank God we pick before y'all. He need LB like really bad.
