But the good news is that Tutu is BACK!!
Oh, wait a minute....

TUTU is Ready !!! The Rams offense should open up.

As stated above about a MLB- Who knows about a backup OT ?? Wendell actually knows what he has. I guess going back to preseason would help maybe find who fits as far as us Fans.

A RB might be needed. I’d LMAO if Kyren Williams pulled some BS only to have him get slashed and traded for a 5th rd pick. Then everyone would be saying The Rams don’t value The RB. I’ll keep to Gurley as my example of don’t always think it won’t happen because of the last.

Tre Mason was coming off a good rookie season. That draft pick really F’d his head up more than it was .I’m not sure what The Rams knew going into that draft though ??
—I do know signing Gurley early with a 5th year left wasn’t smart.
Goff The same thing.I say that because there’s time. The Franchise Tag keeps a STUD player locked in.

I'm not going to speculate on what the Rams have leaned. I just look at the evidence.

The new DC, Shula, is the one who got rid of EJ. If the Rams valued him, they would have signed him to the $11m contract rather than trading him for pennies.

Maybe McSnead tweaks the value they place on ILB given the league's swing to more running but until we see that it's a bad assumption that their value on the position is increasing.
I read that it was McVay. I wouldn’t think Shula had that kind of power anyway.

Plus Shula being more of a LB coach. You’d think he would want at least one solid MLBer.

There LBers now are Fields,Speights, & Neal that gives Shula a WHOLE LOT of Confidence

I’ve seen the patterns for years.IMO & witnessed has been putting the position in a BOX. I’d say they are going to add a couple ILBers in this draft. They need sidelined to sideline coverage.

Not sure Shula’s thoughts, but maybe moving Q.Lake around more as a deep FS-dime-Nickle. He has been calling the plays.

Bigger & faster would be key from what I’d like to see in the Defense. This is coming from a Reeder backer. Speights was a UDRFA for a reason. Not saying he can’t be a quality LBer.Just not sold on him & saw him get exposed. He’s great in short yardage situations.

Maybe I’m the only one who see’s it, but WELCOME to The CLUB !!

What in THE FUCK does all this talk have to do with players coming and going this year? Don’t we have a shitload of threads about the draft? Concentrate people. Concentrate! I mean we ALL know I NEVER derail threads.

Seriously though. Let’s get back on subject. I’m already tempted to delete the last few pages worth of posts.

During the season Aihkello sort of made mention of Mcvay had his back after the season?? If The Rams gad him from the start of 2024 there’s no doubt in my mind they don’t win 2 more games. They sat him out of respect for T.White as well, which he said was difficult.
-In 2023 which is funny he & Kyren were both wearing number 23,before making the team & going with #44.No one knew who he was,but yet he was The Rams best CB.Look against Minnesota a lone in the playoff game.He was singles mostly in The Best WR in The NFL & shut him down.

Anyways his not on the roster Now & it is a position of Need if he doesn’t resign.I’ll find it very SAD as well.He deserves better than that if let go.
Like you posted Les Snead knows it as well.He is a FA though still.I’m assume there’s a hand shake deal.

The loss of Hoecht is the one that hurts the most. He’s ascending. He outplayed every FA lost or at the very least, had more ceiling in front of him than anybody who signed elsewhere.

Maybe but the suspension mitigates the loss, at least, a little bit.

Six game for peds
Ugh.
1) guess that’s why he wasn’t re-signed. How can you justify a raise for someone who is gonna be out for a third of the season?
2) maybe that’s where that extra hop came from that allowed him to block kicks.

I’m kinda bummed about him now—in a different way than I was before.

I'm going to miss Hoecht along with his versatility and leadership. He was a good ST player (Blocked 3 kicks), was a valuable rotation at DE, and a key piece in the middle of the Cheetah package. Not sure any of the other depth guys (Thomas, Hampton, or Jackson) can really fill his shoes.

Would' not be surprised to see the Rams actually draft another DE (if the value is there) or bring in a vet edge after the draft.

Martin is projected as. UDFA on DraftBuzz. I guess it’s low risk. He’s not exactly the thumping run defender that Fletcher was.

Nick MartinLBOklahoma State
Height: 5 - 11 |Weight: 221 lbs |RAS: 8.49
"Nickolas Martin is a quick twitch athlete who has excellent play speed as an undersized linebacker and had high production totals in 2023 before only playing five games in 2024. He led the Big 12 in solo tackles with 83 and had 16 tackles for loss. Additionally, Martin is an effective blitzer who can consistently impact the pocket, with 30 pressures in 2023 on 98 pass-rushing snaps. Martin is a physical run defender who seeks out contact and can beat offensive linemen to make plays
The injury in 2024 means that he has a limited college sample size with only one full season of playing time. Martin can play a little too out of control sometimes and can miss tackles, with a career 13.2% missed tackle rate."

I must have missed it. Did he come or did he go? I could have sworn we had a forum for this kind of post.
