They just finally gave up on Blanton because they have somebody else that they think they can actually develop out.Yeah, I'm a little shocked by this. I know he hadn't put up big numbers before, but he really stepped up in the playoffs last year when he was needed and I thought he was ascending. Wonder if he's hurt or just had a bad camp.

That would be my guess.
yea, my first thought was making room for both harris and McCutchen.Yeah that leaves the Rams thin at TE, at least having TEs with NFL game experience. Do they have their eyes on the waiver wire? Did Blanton do something to have the staff lose faith? Is Jacob Harris going to get more time at TE?
Inquiring minds want to know.
We will always have that NFC Championship Game. Thanks, Kendall.Blanton gave me the impression that he would easily get neutralized once teams got more tape on him. Thanks for the postseason production though
If Hopkins was light years better he would have gotten on the field before hum last yearInteresting.
I’ve pointed out.. he can’t block.
Hopkins is light years better in the pass game.
Wonder if they’re bringing someone in or promoting someone.
5 receptions for 57 yards against the Niners in the NFC Championship Game after Higbee went down was HUGE. Included the biggest gain on the TD drive that pulled the Rams to within three; and a third down catch on the FG drive that tied the score.I don't think we're going to miss his production too much.
4 receptions for 37 yards?
I think we'll be all right.
