Oh, so now it's not enough for a fan to watch the game just once, you're assigning homework now?

Seriously, I don't know if there is a position switch or not.Just kidding, glad for the heads-up. Didn't realize they had a position switch for Johnson.
@XXXIVwin ...
If you had anxiety during THAT game I’d hate to be there when we’re losing. Pro tip: Stay away from the GDT.@XXXIVwin ...
Seriously, if it's available and fans have the time, I think re-watching a game without any anxiety over the outcome (focusing on just the game-action ... and fast-forwarding through everything else) is a great way to hone-in on specific aspects of the game like unit-play (especially the O and D Lines) and individual-paly.
I agree ... I meant In General. If you had anxiety during THAT game I’d hate to be there when we’re losing. Pro tip: Stay away from the GDT.
He sure looks big enough.I thought DesJuan Johnson was more of a DE.
Yeah, he was playing Edge in preseason and looked good. I have been surprised that he hadn't been active. If you have a chance to re-watch Sunday's game, Johnson played a lot; and, almost entirely, at Edge.
He was a down lineman the prior two years but was used quite a bit at Edge in the pre-season.
Totally agree... a re-watch (especially while using slo-mo) is a great way to focus in on specific players and see how they REALLY performed on a given play. Also agreed that a re-watch is especially helpful when focusing on individuals on the OL or DL.@XXXIVwin ...

What defense did they add in place of Hampton?I can totally get that part but my guess is the Rams probably feel better about replacing that part plus adding better depth to the defense.
Agree ... that's why I feel so good about McClendon at RT; and, I am a big fan of Tyler Davis.Totally agree... a re-watch (especially while using slo-mo) is a great way to focus in on specific players and see how they REALLY performed on a given play. A good run stuff, for example. Often with the big scrum of bodies in the middle it's hard to tell which player is making the stop. A few times against the Cards, I'd rewind a bit to see that it was big 'ol 95 (Poona Ford) with the stop.
Right. I wonder if the Rams had him slim down a bit if they're using him more at Edge?He sure looks big enough.
And Wikipedia has him at 280.
Johnson was a D-Lineman in 2023 and 2024 ... but he's playing a lot at Edge in 2025.He sure looks big enough.

BY and Verse are listed at 258 and 260.
Who knows... the listed weights are often off by a country mile. Aaron Donald recently revealed that, in 2018, his actual weight was 30 pounds (!!) less than his listed weight.
(And don't get me started about Tutu's weight as a rookie... @Loyal kept insisting Tutu was big enough, but I never believed him)
Well the particular gamma radiation AD was taking doesn't turn you green...Yeah, but AD was the incredible hulk without turning green.![]()
I don't think it matters after Stewart. We're basically three deep and have been whether they had Hampton or not. With Hampton cut, who's behind Josiah Stewart on the depth chart at OLB now?
I thought DesJuan Johnson was more of a DE.
I'm not saying they added anyone. I probably should have worded it better so that's my fault. Its possible the Rams feel comfortable with someone on our current roster to take his spot or that they have the confidence to find someone else to add better depth to the roster than Hampton if they go that route. What defense did they add in place of Hampton?
That's what I don't get. Prior to the last couple days I put no thought at all to our 4th olb. Seems others worried about him. As well as Limmer and Dolic.I don't think it matters after Stewart. We're basically three deep and have been whether they had Hampton or not.
