My question is, would the Rams help themselves in the long run if they underwent a rebuild or try to fix the current holes on the team?
We're still in re-build....

There's a difference between what happened with the team in the 08-09 and 09-10 offseasons than there is with the 10-11 offseason.

I am talking major rebuild...
It's going to feel like a major rebuild this offseason. There will be tons of changes. This team is full of under-performing, untalented, overpaid, and injury prone players.

Do you think it will include a new HC and GM?

I don't know. I think there's a reasonable chance that at least one of them will not be back next season.

Continue building, we have talent, we can see that in flashes. Quinn, Pettis today, Salas showed flashes after a poor start, Sam has flashes, even Kendricks had some flashes, including today.... Stewart as well.

We don't have depth, if we had depth and didn't have half our roster in the hospital we could develop younger players more. There's talent, it's just not polished enough, I think we need to continue to build, at least for another year. Then we can start to talk about replacement of front office personnel.

We are a few holes, and a healthy roster away from competing with just about anyone in my opinion.

I agree. Three things the Rams need. Luck, not Andrew. Health. And playmakers.

I don't know. It could happen. Could be as much as Kroenke telling McDaniels to choose his assistants (OL, WR, TE, QB coaches), getting a whole new training staff, and a President of Football Operations. That's a lot of changes that could probably do some good.

I think it'll be very surprising if there WON'T be changes. I'm not gonna say who. Actually, I hope there are major changes b/c it would show me that Stan Kroenke is committed to making this team a winner.

Orange - iffy to needs improvement.
Red - cut or fire.
Blue - keep and develop

That's a lot of changes to me. I didn't include the IR players.

Really? Flajole? Are you suggesting Spags take over DC duties at the same time, or bring in someone off of the same coaching tree?

I think Spags IS already the D coordinator. Seems to me he took over a few weeks ago, so why keep Flajole, give someone else the spot that can get it done.

Remember, Stan, or whoever he brings in to run the team, is going to be thinking about these decisions from a business perspective, and that means convincing the fans that you're making enough changes so that they will opt for another season of season-tickets. So, as we've discussed here previously, some may have to go simply for marketing purposes. I don't know if or how that impacts your list, Dr Ram, but thought I should bring up the point, even though it's been addressed on this forum befor.

If it was a pure business decision, it would be a move to LA, since AEG has already said they will pay for the move, the stadium, any penalties for leaving stadiums early, as well as pay for marketing and have a higher internal salary cap than the Rams most likely have, while still maintaining minority ownership.

AEG has done basically everything to try to get teams to move to LA, pure business wise, it's a slam dunk to move the Rams back, given the stadium issues, and the fact they don't have to worry about a second team there (at least not at this time).

Yeah, actually, there are about 10 guys missing from that list since they're on IR now.

And THAT fact (in a big way) lends to the number of blue players listed, and why the Rams are what they are now. We can't compete with the talent that we currently have on our 53. You are only as good as your worst player that has to contribute in a big way, and we have too many players like that, mostly because of injuries.

Unfortunately, players like Fletcher, Bartell, Hoomanwanui, Clayton, etc. might be orange players because of injury, when they should be blue players.
