What? Are you keeping score?

Hard to not keep score, Craig; I don't think you've given a not-negative reaction to any posts made by me. All you've ever given me are not so sures or chills, for whatever reason, and it creates the impression that you just don't like me or what I have to say, considering that nothing in most of those posts was provocative, negative, or even directed at you.

I was just especially confused by your latest one, considering that yes, I did call McCreary for a fifth (and if anyone doesn't believe me, the search button works wonders), and it was an overwhelmingly positive post. Was trying to make light of your reaction, but if you're going to be a sourpuss just because I happened to say something...well, I don't read minds, dude. I don't know what your thought process is.

So let me state it bluntly: shoot it to me straight and honest like you would a fellow adult or put me on ignore so that you don't have to see my posts and get offended by them. Either one is fine, and my feelings won't be hurt either way.

Maybe this was covered before... however... :woozy2:
From Wikipedia (which is a crap shoot anyway...) there is this, about McCreary:

Personal life

McCreary's pregame meal is two plates of baked beans with eight packets of sugar.

That would make it amazing he doesn't shit his pants on big hits!!!!

From Wikipedia (which is a crap shoot anyway...)

Well, Wikipedia cites the source which anyone can check if they want to:

Roger McCreary's Friday night meal to prepare for Auburn football games: beans and sugar?

AUBURN — Beans, beans, the magical fruit. The more you sweeten them, the better your pass coverage pursuit.

That must be the code by which Auburn cornerback Roger McCreary prepares for games.

His teammate in the secondary, Smoke Monday, posted a video on TikTok Friday night in which McCreary dumps sugar on a plate of baked beans. The seniors are close friends and two of Auburn's best defensive players. Monday was asked about the video Tuesday.

Turns it, it wasn't a first-time stunt for the camera.

"He's been doing that ever since our freshman year," Monday said. "He eats baked beans and puts sugar on them, every Friday. We know what we're going to get out of Roger every Friday, and also we know what we're going to get out of Roger every Saturday. Whatever he needs to do to prepare himself for Saturday, hey, it's fine with me."

McCreary has two interceptions heading into Saturday's game at LSU (8 p.m., ESPN), including one he returned for a touchdown. He also has made 14 solo tackles. The tradition seems to be working for the NFL prospect.

I realize everyone has an opinion.

What exactly is the downside of this trade?
To me there is no upside or downside. I think it was a (just in case) move if someone gets injured. I'm just worried if he plays and he gets burned, I will have to endure the "McCreary Is a Bust" threads. I think we should all consider managing expectations.

Lake has played well, but he isn't a pure cover guy. I guarantee you that Roger will fair better against JSN than Lake would, and that could very well be one reason we made this move.

I'd be interested to see who Lake has covered and where that success has come from. I like Lake a ton and think he's a great safety, fantastic locker room guy - but him playing slot CB seems like a disaster waiting to happen to me. Maybe he will cover TEs while McCreary will cover WRs more often and it'll be based on matchups. That would be awesome.
