I'm sorry, I'm most definitely not a fan of this as I always go to these games. I don't want to have to travel to Australia to watch this game when SoFi is so much closer and a top notch stadium. I said fuck the NFL because this shows the greed. For the Aussie fans in here, glad you at least get a game closer to you but I honestly hate it for myself personally.

the game in Australia was announced last year, so don't know why people are losing their shit now. Only thing announced today was the opponent

might throw the idea out to the wife for a vacation

That said, rather than me being a Brit and bearing in mind you’ve split the micks, sweaties and taffs out…….can I be English please?
Yes, we bloody Yanks must be respectful of a Limey Redcoat's delicate sensibilities! And surely don't call him a mick or a sweatie or a taff! :laugh2:

(And yes, I had to google some of this shit to figure out what half of it meant.) And just kidding of course, @HX76

It's alright I used to grab one for the ride home years ago every once in a while before I discovered Chelada's
I’ve had this discussion with @Dagonet a few times. It seems the Fosters that is exported is different to the stuff they inflict on us down here. In any case, you don’t find it in many places these days.

I'd rather see us play someone else there so you basically said it, it's the opponent. Its a California rivalary.

The Rams have become a better road team for these games over time. It affects both teams with the softer team generally having off game days.

Yeah I’m more than a little surprised it’s a divisional game. Thought for sure it would be the Chargers. It just made too much sense that they are both west coast teams, not divisional rivals and they both play out of the same stadium so not much disadvantage to either team.

But as I said, it makes too much sense so it was never on the NFL’s radar

I was afraid this would be a weird time locally but from what I read it’s 19 hours behind PT so would be 21 hours behind for me. So assuming they do it in evening or late afternoon in Australia it’ll just be an afternoon game. That’s good at least. I’m glad our UK friends get to see them live but I really hate watching a game at 8 in the morning lol.

With the 17 game schedule, this means that the Rams still get 8 true "home" games, 8 away, and 1 International.

So I don't see how season tix holders are getting "hosed." Frankly, I'm pisssed at all the season tix holders who are re-selling their premium game tix for profit. Props to the true Rams fans out there. But I hope they do a better job of weeding out the for-profit people who are willing to let SoFI get taken over by opposing fans.
I have season tickets and I'm happy this game is on the other side of the world. We should never have to do a silent count at home. The ticket holders who are the most pissed are the ones who always sell this game (niner fans always bid them up massively).

It annoys me the NFL is so hell bent on international expansion, thinking about putting teams in Europe even apparently, with all the nightmare logistics that entails, when Toronto is right next door - and is a bigger market than any American city not named NYC/LA/Chicago, and has a successful franchise in every other pro sports league with tons of fan support so you know it can work just fine. I personally don't think the NFL should expand outside of the USA. But if it does, Toronto not being the 1st destination, makes absolutely 0 sense.

Welcome to my world! The early East Coast games broadcast here around 3.00am so 8.00 am is pure luxury!

So this will be a Saturday afternoon game?
Thinking it will be a Thursday Night game for you guys. All indications so far suggest that the game will be played mid morning on Friday down here which translates to a Thursday night in the States
