None of OP's "Celebrate the W" threads have been started prematurely in my eyes. Us fans have some real Champaign Problems if this is up for debate.

And in this game, when Corum house called that run from the 50 yard line the game was over; McVay pulled almost all starters on both sides of the ball. My family started celebrating, and for the first time in I can't remember - - I was tempted to switch over to another game (Packs/Bears) to see how that played out, with an entire Quarter of football left.

Just as playing backups the entire 4th quarter is not bad Karma, neither is celebrating the W once that rare event happens.

Hell of a game and win.

Im of the old school "act like you've been there before" and dont see the need to proclaim victory until the final whistle

I’m in sports heaven right now after this weekend. James Madison University (JMU my Alma mater) made the college football playoffs. The Los Angeles, Rams finally had a complete game first whistle to final whistle and showed what they could do when they play excellent (not perfect due to early pass coverage) football.

finally had a complete game???

Missed the Saints and or Bucs game???

That game was over by the end of the first half. My wife and I were wrapping Christmas gift during the 2nd half and I only had one eye on the game.

Stafford got off to a rocky start, but made it look easy there after. The D looked pretty good, they gave up that garbage time TD.

However, I still can't get that loss against the Panthers out of my head for some reason. I think when we beat the Lions this Sunday, I'll be completely over it.

Couldn't agree more about the "act like you've been there before". I strive to teach my children that rule everyday. Proper sportsmanship is a cornerstone of strong character.

But it seems self-righteous to me to apply that important principle in the case of last nights game. If that game wasn't over 1 minute and 10 seconds into the 4th quarter, then the decision to pull 90% of the starters on both sides of the ball could have been viewed as arrogant. Acknowledging victory before the game is officially over can be done with class, and I believe those of us who did - did so with class.

Not understanding why this is worth arguing over?
Great win by the Rams

Great way to bounce back. Was stuck at work elbows deep in blood so I didn’t get to see the beat down live but was able to listen.

The Cardinals looked like they had some life in them early on but that faded quickly lol. Team is full of quitters. Looking forward to kicking their skulls in again in a couple weeks.

Hospitals, man. What can I say. Things get messy sometimes lol.
I thought you were a Butcher..... I used to watch my dad cut meat at Gemco when I was a kid. My Dad actually got me a weekend job when I was 10 on the weekend to lay new sawdust in the meat department and clean the freezers then stack milk bottles.

Easy $15 on the weekend.

And its bad karma each week.
Seriously, why cant you just wait until the game is over? Being afraid somebody else is going to start one first? Cmon now

Made a post saying that I don't care who starts one first so long as they win, not sure where it is. I just happen to be confident, and I'll admit it.

The game was over. There was no chance of Arizona catching up, and the backups were in, so apparently, McVay thought it was over as well. Are you going to critique him as well?

I have never started a celebration thread when the victory was in doubt, when the game wasn't considered over. Call it arrogance, call it bad karma, call it whatever you like.

You know you're a dominant team when you put the 2nd string in for almost the whole 4th Q for an away game. Good times. Not much else to say lol. But glad to see Corum (and Kyren) break out some "explosive" plays. Puka doin' his thing. Watching him & Adams walk out the tunnel together before the game was mythical.
But we gotta stomp on the Lions & the Darn-Old 'Hawks. Let's show them who's boss. Save the MVP & SB discussions for January. Bears lost, but the 'Hawks stomped the dirty birds, just as solidly as we did the 'Cards. Last thing we want is an outdoor away game in January in either of their hostile stadiums.
GO RAMS

As a UCLA fan, thank you for your coach.
