The Rams are the best team in the NFC and possibly the NFL. But I was nervous when McVay kept Stafford in the game so so long in the 4th quarter. Holding my breath that we stay healthy.
I wasn't worried about Stafford after they took the 34-7 lead. All he did was hand the ball off to a running back.

After a great "smoke check" win over the Bucs...I'll be watching tonight , as the Panthers are at the 9ers. That's a tough draw on Carolina! To have the 9ers tonight with the Rams coming to their place on Sunday. It's definitely "sink or swim" time for the Panthers!!

Carolina is gonna lose to the Rams and 9ers. But I think a sub .500 record could win the NFC South.... even the Falcons still have a very slight chance.

That's funny; I used to call them Tampon Bay back in the late 70's. Someone asked me why and I said "Because they're so douchey!"

McVay is now 4-2 overall vs the Bucs, including 1-0 in the playoffs. (Rams overall are 3-0 vs Bucs in the playoffs)

The Rams also had the satisfaction of being the only NFC team to beat Brady 2x in a season (2021). 5 AFC teams have also done that.

I started calling them Tampon Gayyyy because of their lame cheer they do in their stadium. The home side of the stadium's fans scream out in unison- "Tampa"... then, the east side of the stadium screams back - "Bay". Annoying doesn't begin to describe it... plus, it's lame as fuck like I said. They go back and forth with this stupid shit multiple times.

I've been to 2 of the 3 playoff games we've played against them (those 2 were in Tampa) . The other playoff game we had against them was in The STL (NFC Championship game / Ricky Proehl one handed catch game winner.

The 1st one was the 1979 NFC Championship Game. We were back home in Orlando (from Hawaii) for the Christmas / New Year holidays. My Grandfather surprised me with tickets. No touchdowns in the game... but we won 9 - 3 I think the score was... my hatred for that team began that day. That was in the Old Sombrero stadium that bad flat aluminum benchs with a seat number just painted on top.

The other playoff game was in their current stadium- Raymond James... aka Ray-J... when we beat brady. Kupp's bomb last minute catch put us within to get us in field goal range.

Orlando and Tampa residents don't really like each other. When our Orlando Lions soccer team was still in a lower league, we had a huge rivalry. Our hometown cheer was/is short and sweet - "Fuck Tampa". Orlando is in the MLS now, so we don't play Tampon anymore... but our sophisticated fan base stills screams out "Fuck Tampa" multiple times. LOL... The hatred is pure and strong!

I've been to just about every Ram game in Tampon since 1979. Their fans are total trash too.

Soooooooooooo.... FUCK TAMPON!!!!!!

What a statement game!!

I know it's not realistic to expect those very week but it was great to see it anyway.

Total domination in all areas of the game. A delight to watch!

Onto Carolina.

Couple Quick Observations

Although the Bucs are not strong on the Edge, I thought McClendon looked really solid at RT.

Thought Curl was very effective tackling ... fast, physical and fundamentally sound.

Forbes was Obviously terrific in coverage.

New Wrinkle on Defense ...
#3 Edge Josiah Stewart was on-the-field WITH Verse and Young for a number of plays.
Three true Edge players on the field at the same time is not common.
Sometimes all three rushed ... sometimes one of them came up-the-middle ... sometimes one dropped.
These three, PLUS Turner and Fiske gave the Rams 5 legit pass rushers on-the-field, at the same time.
