He may have lucked into being in the right place at the right time but otherwise hes missing tackles or making them 5 yards beyond the LOS. Thats not a hyperbole. He doesn’t know what he’s doing out there.

See now you are getting closer to something that looks like a reasonable argument. Though the conclusion that he "lucked" into every good play he ever made - is again hyperbole.

I'm pretty sure Nate Landman and Speights as the starters is the plan.
I do expect to see a mid round project for sure however.

The few Linebackers the Rams reportedly spoke with are UDFA types

I hope you are right because, this linebacker class is not good. Even the top two guys have serious limitations.

I'm ok with the Rams going with one of the earlier options. But there are quite a few I like. The UCLA kid is very intriguing for example. Also the Oklahoma kid. And late round I'm a big fan of Martin. I think he'd pair real nice with Speights.

Aside from possibly Campbell and Shwesinger, I doubt there ends up being a starting three down linebacker in the entire draft. Even Campbell is not a complete off ball linebacker. Some think he’s better as an edge.

Shwesinger is great in pass coverage but he cannot shed blocks. He weaves around them but that’s tough to do in the NFL. When he does get blocked he ends up on the ground.

So many of these guys are so small too.
