So let's break it down:

Excluding preseason games:

2015 - 2020:

Regular Season:
Avg. 2 punts per game (that's right)
Holder on 5 PAT's per game
Holder on 2 FG's per game

So, not withstanding the post-season, he will have 864 "touches" (16 x 9 x 6) which means every time he touches the ball, and based upon my numbers, he will get approximately $20,800.00 per touch. Now I totally expect to see the RAMS in post-season play over the next 6 seasons, so it will drop some. Not a bad day's work!

There was really no reason for this high-dollar extension with Hekker slated for restricted free agency in 2015. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the $9 million guarantee is the most in league history for a punter or kicker. Hekker is an excellent punter, but this is a Raidersian move. The Rams are 5-7.
