Looks like a solid SCB with speed and agility.

Boundary: Durant & Rochell
SCB: Tomlinson & Kendrick (dime DB)

Their late round safety looks like a STs pick.

I mean.. he’s just so small.
The Rams best returning corner is undersized.
I seem to remember guys like Deebo & Metcalf in the division.

I’m gonna hope and pray Rochelle is figuring it out. Sheesh.

Going for the gene pool connection, I see.... Good call.
Uncle: LaDainian Tomlinson

I was in the camp of wanting a bigger CB too, even before losing Ramsey. Especially in the NFC West.

But the more I read and watch with Tomlinson, the more I love this pick. A 6th round pick for a player with this much skill? Sign me up. You can find ways to utilize even a very small corner effectively. You just don't want a secondary full of them IMO. He likely just makes one of our other small CBs expendable. I am more than fine with using a 6th round pick for a clear upgrade in the secondary.

Watching Tomlinson’s tape makes you feel that he’d have been drafted in the first two rounds if he’d been a few inches taller. The guy is everywhere- sticks to his man in coverage and has real ball hawking skills.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he became the best slot CB in the league.

If Rochelle can play, I see him going against the bigger receivers.

We need one more bigger CB or safety against teams that have big receivers.

Maybe Rochell is the guy who takes a step forward this year. That sure would be nice. Certainly the secondary coaching change will improve his chances.

The lack of CBs taken early, letting FA CBs go, trading Jalen and not picking anyone up (yet) sure seems to tell us that they like the young guys they have in the room and feel comfortable letting them ascend and take over. I looke at the roster on paper and get worried. But i'm clinging to the hope that they know the young guys are ready and will indeed perform well.

This guy is really consistent. Hopefully he'll be better in that regard than Hill was. Hill did have his moments though yes.
What I remember was the opening game of the 2008 season. The Eagles took advantage of Hill by passing over his head to tall receivers such as Hank Basket.

Jim Thorpe award winner, more of a nickelback at the next level. Ballhawker, tough in run-support, sticks like Gorilla glue. Love this pick.

It's interesting. You know who had almost identical measurables and won the Jim Thorpe award? Antoine Winfield Sr. I struggle to make that comparison because Winfield was insanely strong for his size, but I don't recommend that people write Tre off because he's small. He can ball.
