our run defense is so stout this year.

It sets everything else up. Stopping top backs.

Verse has really rounded into shape and I love the A gap blitz from Verse. Using him like Parsons.

We really need Avila in there and possibly an in season trade for a corner if we want to be an elite Defense. All the other peices are there.

Lastly, Higbee looks slow and old. Time to get those young TE’s going.

Yeah Rams run game this year is different. It looks like it could be dominant if and when we ever get our starting five OL out there for a stretch. It's no longer "is our top guy seeing it well today," but rather "who's the hot hand today." And we have a rook with a good gear on the bench as the RB3 who may factor in down the stretch for us.

TE have to admit I'm irked by Ferguson not being ready yet. But when it comes to being a weapon over the middle, if you sit down in the wrong spot, run the wrong route, or otherwise have your rookie head up your ass there's a high chance of a turnover due to so many players with their heads up in the middle of the field. I want to see his athleticism out there though. We've been waiting a long time for that.

I knew this game was going to be scary. Colts line is excellent, so gotta give big cred to the DL on stepping up and getting the job done today. Rest of the boys too of course, but we got lucky today to large extent with that dropped TD. This is still a team that needs the offense to put points up, as we just don't have the secondary to win games with one or two FGs.

Next 4 games are Shitters, @Ravens, @Jags, Saints. One game at a time of course, but all those are winnable. If the Rams bust their asses and get good health over that stretch they may find themselves in the early race for that top seed. Which in the end is something I really want to see. I want that fuckin playoff bye.
