Rams release lb Jonathon stewart to make room for Pead

Saw this coming when he was among the INACTIVES on Sunday.

My guess he makes it to the practice squad as insurance.

First guess is Emory Blake. They already have Veltung there as an extra WR, not sure they need another.

Sammy Brown has been moved to DE, so he really isn't in the mix anymore at LB.

We were both wrong. Darren Woodard is the guy cut from the PS.

It's true that he aren't even using the five WRs we have now.

As for Sammy being moved to DE, we're pretty set there and we already have Brodine on the PS who I like a lot better.

I say we wager a bow down smiley on it. :bg:

Bates looking like a special teams beast, value in Armstrong, and Stewart had some kind of injury, although I didn't think it was serious. He will probably go the the PS. I like this kid's potential.

I'd be with Veltung, or Blake. Veltung, seemingly, holds a little more value, IMO.
 
I still think it's Sammy so if you wanna bet the bow down Smiley you have to pick one of those two. :bign:
 
Can't help but to wonder if another move is coming.

Don't recall a team carrying just 5 LBs before.

WE were both wrong,, Darren Woodard (CB) cut from the PS.
