Shoulda started coaching again in 2016, Jared Goff you bastid! ~ Chuckie
Actually He is right... not just the "Bay Area" but Goff is from Marin County So the Napa area is quite close to where he grew up. then Saturday, he will be back in the East Bay where Cal is. I'm sure it's a good feeling for him.

I was joking about when he entered the coaching profession. He could have entered a couple of years earlier and his new team might have been able to move heaven and earth to get Goff. If it was the Raiders, maybe they cold have dumped Carr when his value was greater, to get the best QB ever to play for Cal!:homer:

My response was more towards Vinnie's first tweet about "Goff liking the Bay area". I was just pointing out that where they are practicing Vs. the Raiders, is probably the closest JG has actually played some football since he graduated H.S. :)

Showing the first few plays now at 730EST. Guessing Carr threw the INT in a 7on7. Followed up with a nice PBU from Littleton.
Short pass complete, NRC there to wrap up immediately, maybe 3 yards.
Went right to a Weddle interview after the pass.

800 EST Goff connecting on some check down passes. Now to Goff interview. Asking him some gimme questions re scrimmaging, McVay keeping things new, how u feel Wentz going #2, improvements and moving on from Superbowl.

Analysts in studio think Goff hasn't hit ceiling. Goff needs to separate from being under McVay talking into helmet. Expectations for Gurley. Not expecting any preseason snaps for Gurley or Goff. Note Bosa getting an MRI on ankle today.

820 EST They showed a blown coverage in the right flat that Carr found probably would have had 20 yards.

They only showed 5 rams raiders clips, disappointing.

Am I the only one disappointed with the NFL coverage of camp? Todays scrimmage, just like the ones with Chargers, is mostly Steve Smith, MJD and the network guy with big ears yammering on with a background of the players going thru drills. I find it pretty useless.

I'm with you rams. The camera angles all suck with them many times blocked by people. You see passes thrown but the camera doesn't follow the ball. All the while the talking heads are yammering about nothing. If they wanted to do a real camp, then why wasn't a camera set on a cherry picker to simply cover the field. They could zoom in on the action and drills if they wanted.

All in all a waste of time. Just another way to get commercials in.

Will take that Goff had a good/great day.

Would have like more info on individual player performance in the scrimmage. Seems like a waste of resources not to make it available.

Oh good. I thought it was only me. I read the Vinnie tweets about how good Goff looked today and it sucks that it was not on NFL Network even though they were covering the camp.

I didnt see any 11 on 11 on NFL network. But from what I did see coverage of the scrimmage was awful. Way to much host talking and even rerunning an interview with a raider rookie. Once was enough.
