I know, I’m making fun of Freeman.Oh you mean the guy who grabbed his face mask and threw a punch? And all Donald did was pick him up and get him off the face mask. He never threw a punch. That’s completely different.

AD is a Greco-Roman god come to earth to make mortal offensive players fear him and have fans worship him.Donald bullies mortals.

I like Zach Thomas too, including his length because he did play tackle in college, but you must include Tremayne Anchrum as part of the Offensive Line.Zach Thomas really is a surprise to many people but I liked his play at SDSU. He's got good movement skills with good quickness and smooth footwork. He's 6'5" 300lbs with nice long arms giving him excellent play radius. If Noteboom can't go then I'd really like to see Thomas. He's come a long way and being held out and given a red shirt year to develop as a OG shows. His only real criticism coming out of college was he needed to strengthen to play in the NFL. It looks like he's done that. This guy belongs in the NFL and if I was Wendell he would be my choice for RG over a gimpy Noteboom.
LT Jackson, 6'7", 285 lbs
LG Avila 6'3", 332 lbs
C Shelton 6'4", 299 lbs
RG Thomas 6'5", 300 lbs
RT Havenstein 6'8", 330 lbs
Reserves: OT McClendon and Noteboom, C/OG McAllister, Maginn
That's a big OL, so if they really wanted to go bigger that would be the starting OL I would go with. Good centers are always in demand. I'd trade Allen, but I think they keep him and put Maginn on the PS. We will know if Allen starts at center on Saturday. I would give Noteboom a full year to recover then a shot at RT next year. If he doesn't pan out then Thomas can move to RT and McClendon inside to RG in 2024.
The media keeps harping on the OL but the way the Rams keep treating this as extended OTAs with all the positional shuffling the OL can't learn to play as a unit. It as much or more than any other unit on the team needs to play as a unit. Yes there are individual battles but in the context of the game it need unit cohesion to be successful. They need to decide who is starting where and stick with it. The OL needs time to build trust in one another and unit cohesion. I think starting next week all the OL shuffling probably ends and the starting OL is determined.
Allen is a pure center, so they need to know whether he's their starter because unlike Shelton it's center or backup center for Allen. That's why I'm leaning towards Allen as the starter with Shelton or Thomas at RG if Noteboom can't go. I don't think Noteboom's Achilles is 100%. With many people it takes a full year to recover as much as they are going to. Whether or not a repaired Achilles can hold up for an NFL OL is really debateable.

And Bruss. I refuse to give up on him and have him dominate with someone else.I like Zach Thomas too, including his length because he did play tackle in college, but you must include Tremayne Anchrum as part of the Offensive Line.
Also, this guy can't keep his body parts pointing the right direction.

It's just content bro. Who here has said they're drawing conclusions? Interpret it however you want, but if Tutu got open, he got open. You don't have to be an NFL coach to report that. They're providing content for us to discuss. There are countless know nothing Twitter posters.
On this thread, we have, by way of example, some guy who I guess is a local sports caster with < 4,000 followers trying to place significance on what he saw in some one-on-one OL/DL drills.
Seriously? From that, we’re going to draw broad conclusions?
And, lest you think I’m motivated by bias, I’m likewise not penciling Tutu Atwell into the Pro Bowl because of the Tweets praising his performance today.
Grain of salt across the board at this stage.
I'm a fan for no other reason that when we needed him to step up on February 13th 2022 he came through for usI'm no fan of Hopkins but I allow that TE is the one spot where you can see continued improvement year over year more than any other with all the different mental and physical responsibilities they have to master.
Good to hear.
I don’t respond to straw man arguments (other than to confirm that policy). If you want to discuss what I actually said, I’m happy to do so.It's just content bro. And the guys at The Athletic spend a lot of time at closed practices and meeting with Rams personnel including McVay, so their content "may" be more insightful than our own ROD camp reports and your random thoughts. Just saying
Big Whit was talking him up against the chargers saying there’s my guy Thomas moving the pile & creating those run lanes.I like Zach Thomas too, including his length because he did play tackle in college, but you must include Tremayne Anchrum as part of the Offensive Line.
I don’t know what the F’ your saying, but is this guy a Raiders guy or a Rams guy.As far as us who went to training camp.I know what I saw & didn’t complain about the sun.I wore a hat to protect my head, but if you know the difference of The Lou & NB then I’d agree he is getting extra sunshine especially today vs. 2 weeks ago. It's just content bro.
