It occurred to me last night that the book I've been reading at night for the last month or so is "Vikings Myths & Sagas". Ironic. I will write the next chapter:
The Vikings, led by Darnold the Warrior, were to descend on the kingdom of the red birds, crushing the powerful horned sheep visiting due to the great fires wrought by the gods. But King Stafford, leader of the horned ones, would not allow that to happen. He was assisted by crafty Shula the Dwarf, conjuring up the sacking powers that weakened Darnold the Warrior, causing him to shrivel into a heap, nine times to be exact. King Stafford thanked the red bird denizens, and set his sights on the kingdom of the green birds.
