What is so complicated? The Eagles and Bears won their division and will always have home field advantage over a wild card team
Not in my lifetimeI thought NFL playoffs get reseeded after every game tho?
Division Winners are only guaranteed one home game, and after the home game if they win it gets reseeded.

Never going to happen. They want teams to get a benefit from winning their division. Not true. If Panthers beat us, and SF and GB win, Carolina would get a SECOND Home Game with an 8-9 record.
League needs to at least change this rule this off season.

Dont think so. Winning your division even if its shitty should mean something. Plus not all schedules are equal. This works. No need to fix it.Not true. If Panthers beat us, and SF and GB win, Carolina would get a SECOND Home Game with an 8-9 record.

It is very rare for an under 500 division winner to win the first game. 2010 seattle over the saints in the earth quake game and 2014 panthers. So it really isnt a big dealYeah. And that benefit should be hosting A Game, not TWO.

If they won they would have to travel the next game any way. If they won that the only way they would get home field is if a WC team was left. not impossible but unlikely cause they were a loosing team.My whole point is about the SECOND game (and beyond) not the first.

No. You do that you might as well eliminate the divisions and just take the top 7 teams. Not true. If Panthers beat us, and SF and GB win, Carolina would get a SECOND Home Game with an 8-9 record.

I have an uncle that was at the 1951 NFL Championship at the Coliseum. Rams upset the Browns 24-17.Attended the Rams Cards game and sat next to an 86 year old Rams fan who attended his first Rams game at the Coliseum when he was 7 years old in 1946 with his father. He saw all the greats of that era. It was an amazing visit. I gave him a hug at the end of the game and feel blessed to have sat next to a 79-80 year Rams fan. He saw Bob Waterfield, Kenny Washington and Woody Strode! The color barrier was broken and he was there to see it. Just amazing. I have paid my respects to Woody Strode as his resting place is near my brother in the Riverside National Cemetery here in California. Had a great time at the game and the Rams fans were loud!

Winning a division has to mean that you get an advanatage or there's no point.
