The Rams defense intercepted Bucs quarterback Josh Freeman four times including a Janoris Jenkins pick six that propelled the Rams to a 28-13 win on Sunday in Tampa, Florida. The Rams defense forced five turnovers in the game and also recorded five sacks in a dominant performance. Offensively, Sam Bradford threw two TD passes, one went for 80 yards to Lance Kendricks to pen the 3rd quarter and give St. Louis a 21-6 lead. Steven Jackson needed 91 yards rushing to reach 1,000 yards for the season, he got 81. So Jax will need just ten rushing yards against the Seahawks next Sunday to make it eight straight season with 1,000 or more yards rushing.

Fox 2 Sports reporter Charlie Marlow was with the Rams and files this post game report. Players commenting include Jenkins, Long, JL, Jackson, and Bradford.

This team has a good locker room.

Coaching helps create that kind of atmosphere, but it takes guys with character, and we have a lot of them.

It wouldn't be fair to dismiss the focus Devaney put into this. He didn't land all the right talent all the time, but he did hit on some and his approach to character players was spot on. You've got to have a foundation in the locker room.

Agreed. I know that the previous regime has gotten a bit of stick around these parts, but they did put some really solid building blocks in for this team. Maybe Spags wasn't the guy to bring this team forward, but it's looking like Coach Fisher is, and I for one am glad that we're a team on rise and that we have the draft ammunition to massively increase the talent level going forward.

The future is bright for the Rams..................and I love it!!
