The ultimate distraction.

But very impressive of our Hall of Fame quarterback.Stafford had 2.33 seconds average time to throw; Stroud had 2.78. Disappointing day for our OL.
That is what I saw too.I saw DL just run past him towards Stafford twice.
Gotta find that pic of him getting triple teamed, whole pass pro was set up for him.
Reason 1,428 why i think PFF is nonsense,
Colby Parkinson had a higher rating than Davis Allen. Why is that a big deal? CP caught 2 passes for a negative 6 yards, including one of the catches he fumbled. So basically he'd have been better had he dropped the passes. And Allen catches 1 for a TD with no turnover and has a lower score.
Sure, shape your opinion of a player based solely on when the ball gets thrown to them. In actuality, everything gets taken into account, routes on plays they aren't targeted, run plays, etc.Reason 1,428 why i think PFF is nonsense,

McVay always prioritizes pass pro. So yeah Limmer's ass will probably be on the bench for a while after that game. Dedich isn't as physical but he seems to know who his assignment is.Limmer graded out 29.9 in pass blocking. He is so good at run blocking, but IMHO, is too much of a liability in pass protection. I would go with Dedich over him.
Yeah the pass blocking is concerning since Stafford staying healthy and not battered is important to competing towards a title.Limmer graded out 29.9 in pass blocking. He is so good at run blocking, but IMHO, is too much of a liability in pass protection. I would go with Dedich over him.
Now unless they feel Limmer can play and hold up in pass protection, I would go with McClendon at RG or bring up Bowles from the practice squad. Of course that is if both guards cannot play. If Avila can go at LG, then start Dedich at RG with Limmer as a reserve. Limmer is a better Center then Guard, but he struggles in pass protection and does not appear to have improved in that area.Yeah the pass blocking is concerning since Stafford staying healthy and not battered is important to competing towards a title.
I read 59 or less. the fact that no one is talking about it is concerning, he's going to get Stafford creamed.Anyone know Shelton's grade? He looked awful to me. I was not a fan of his the first time around. He was very meh, and now he is years older, so perhaps he will only be worse this time around. He won't kill you, but ideally should not be starting. He's really just a useful backup IMO. But we paid him $12 million almost fully guaranteed! I would have rather ran it back with Limmer and spent that money elsewhere. Although not perfect, Limmer gives us more weight/anchor in the middle. I think people are bias against Limmer because he sadly got owned 2 plays in a row, at the most important time, against an elite DT in Jalen Carter, which likely prevented the Rams from a Super Bowl appearance. But Limmer wasn't bad last year. Particularly when you consider he was rookie. He should be improved as a sophomore with more experience making NFL calls and picking up on NFL stunts from opposing d-linemen. Would I like to update from Limmer? Yes. But I'd be surprised if Shelton is an upgrade.
The Rams draft insanely well, which has resulted in lots of talent at a cheap price. If we didn't fumble our pro level signings and re-signings so frequently, and instead were cap efficient with those dollars, imagine how unstoppable we'd be?
