I thought he said he was going to sign with a contender.:rolllaugh::thinking:

He's what - a 10 yr vet? With days to go to training camp, not playing would cost him a tad over 1 million. I'm sure he really wanted to play for a contender, but if it's not happening, that's a lot of money to give up.

Yay, I do the happy dance. Oh nice dude, but I glad he not Ram. Yay I do the happy dance. And now I make appointment for doctor to look at my back. Too much happy on the dance. :homercrawl:

Great guy so happy for him to get to play more. He's still an adequate veteran. But I'm happy we were able to acquire talent to move on from him.

I didn't want him back and was anti Connor. When I heard the news this morning I thought he could produce at 25-30% of snaps. I think he got 60% plus last year. Great guy who helped the young Rams last year and I wish him luck.

Good luck to Connor. We don't play the Giants this year, so I can wish him luck through this season.

Connor Barwin says his goodbye to the Giants
Posted by Michael David Smith on January 29, 2019

The Giants signed outside linebacker Connor Barwinto a two-year contract last year, but he won’t be back for the second year.

Barwin posted a goodbye message on Instagram today, after the Giants apparently told him he’ll be released.

That’s no surprise, given that the Barwin is 32 years old, became a part-time player last season and finished the year with just one sack. Barwin would have been due a $1.225 million base salary and $275,000 in bonuses if he had been with the team.

It’s possible that Barwin will be able to catch on somewhere else this offseason, but it’s also possible that this is the end of Barwin’s 10-year NFL career.
