One of the Greatest NFL Cinderella Stories (If not, The Greatest!) had to be Kurt Warner! Could the Rams have another Cinderella Story coming up with Texas A&M-Commerce's Luis Perez?

*Never played High School Football (Bowled!)
*Has Bowled 12 Perfect Games
*Started off as the 9th string QB at Southwestern Junior College!!!
*Won Division 11 Title at Texas A&M-Commerce
*Won the Harlan Hill Trophy in 2017

Watching video of this young man you have to be impressed!

Can he make the Rams roster? Won't be easy BUT I don't think I would bet against him!

His ball placement is phenomenal. An order of magnitude better than someone like Josh Allen.

He may not have the biggest arm, but he throws a really, really catchable ball with excellent placement.

I could see him supplanting Mannion after a year on the PS.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree. Personally, I think if he makes an NFL Team (The Rams or some other NFL Team) after never playing High School Football and starting his College Career at a Junior College as the 9th STRING QB I would consider that pretty much a Cinderella Story. Maybe, Not as impressive as Kurt Warner's story (Probably won't ever be a Cinderella Story like Kurt Warner's!) but still very impressive.

Well, Warner didn't beat out Trent Green...just saying!
 
Ninth string? WTF who has nine QBs on the roster? Don't they have roster limits at the JuCo level?


I hope this kid can play and he is able to unseat Mannion by 2019. If something happens to Goff I doubt Mannion can take the Rams very far.

Kurt Warner beat Trent Green to a Gold Jacket. He was a diamond in the rough that nearly nobody recognized. His story is unmatched. If there any other undrafted/unknown back up QB that made the hall of game? None that I know of in the modern ERA.

agree! I've heard some great stories but noting like Kurt's. I heard they were going to make a movie soon about him?
