The Seahawks are not a great team and will struggle all season. This division is totally winable.

Also, good job by the D. This is a young team, they make mistakes against a very experienced defense, it happens. Finally, this was Fisher's signature game, let's see that loss as part of the Unfishering.

You know, after the Jaguar game next week, Rams face some pretty weak teams. There's a stretch we could win 6 in a row; 7 if we handle the Jags.

I'll project a record of 9-3 by week 12. How 'bout them apples!

Like @Dieter the Brock said, we were one incredible pitch and catch away from winning this game right at the end. I'm no fan of moral victories, and this isn't one, but this team ain't no Chump. For the first time in a very long time, I feel like this team can overcome adversity no matter how bleak it looks or how late in the game it is. And damn if they didn't almost do exactly that.

No quit.

P.S. Son of Bum called a great game.

OL is a big positive in the passing game, with very good protection for Jared and also did a good job on some short yardage runs.

Woods and Kupp balled out. Heart over talent man, how many times does that prove true...

Defense is coming along. Seattle's offense isn't great, but they're a quality team and holding them to 16 is respectable so a step in the right direction.

Higs actually made a catch with a guy on him, and another late with a safety nearby to change field position on the last drive. Drops too, but he is improving.

Terrible loss but didn't give up and had chance to win at end. That last drive was nice to see even if it did come up short.

The positives? We blew at least 20 points because of our own errors. We still should have won in the end, but we made yet another unforced error. Seattle wasn't the better team today. They should have blown us out considering the mistakes we made. We just didn't want to win.
That out to Woods, while a great catch, was the most impressive throw I have seen Goff made. Woods was covered. Goff got him that ball late, into a very tight window and that pass took NFL arm strength. There are plenty of guys in the NFL that can't make that throw.

Looking at stats, no way Seahags win. Less than 200 yards passing and only 62 yards total rushing.

We turned it over 5 times. We pissed away 20 points in the red-zone. We still only lost by 3 against a team that was in the playoffs last year after dropping the game-winning TD. If that doesn't tell Rams fans that this team is for real, I'm not sure what will. I hate losing. I am still mad that we lost, but I'm not discouraged at all. We played our worst game of the year. This might end up being our worst game of the year after 16 games, and we still nearly won the game. We're a good football team.

I hear you Jerry, but I'm not ready to be susie-sunshine about this loss..give me a few months...

Higs is looking better every week. He played well today. Made some very nice catches. Everett missed on that rd. Goff threw a great ball right in his basket.
Woods is a work horse.
We need to get Watkins involved more. I think he has only 1 catch the last 2 weeks.
Our run D looked good today. Some of the credit can go to Seattle's poor line, but I'll take it.
Johnson was fun to watch. 1 pick and almost had another one early on the game. Very Atogwe-esque.
Legatron has been incredible this year, but that missed fg hurt.

That last drive with 1 minute left was impressive. Goffs throws were something to watch

- I'm fairly happy with the defense today. Some in the vent thread have bagged on them, but c'mon ... they held the Seahawks to 16 points under 300 yards of total offense, under 200 yards passing, and only 62 yards rushing - despite our offense doing everything they could to give the game away. They made enough stops to keep it close. This might have been their most solid outing of the season. This loss is not on them.

- Despite a horrible outing and playing like crap most of the day, Goff still was able to drive the Rams down the field at the end, and threw a pass that was good enough - one that if caught would have won us the game, pending the extra point.

- Still don't care what anyone says, what the pundits say, what the power rankings say - we are better than the Seahawks. They won today the way the Rams won last year - their opponents played bad and they were still lucky to escape with a win.

We just didn't want to win.
A little hyperbole there man? We shot ourselves in the foot for sure. I'm pretty sure to a man - we wanted to win.

Certainly time to take that next step though. We need to seize the wins. Really take the wins. I think we will but there will still be a lot of challenges along the way. It's not like these other teams want to lose.
