I’ve been waiting all season to follow the Comp Picks. This goes all the way back to the start of McSnead.

Gerald Everett & JJ trade was pretty awesome.

Josh Reynolds was a solid 4th pick.

Ebukham-I thought would have been better & still flashes very well.

The Mcvay coaching staff & Snead with the URRFA & URF.

Now The New Rule with GM’s & coaches.Just wondering what all this brings The Rams in Draft Picks

Thread title says ‘2021 Comp Picks’. Then you mention 2021 pending free agents Everett, Johnson, Reynolds and Ebukam.

Any Compensatory Picks for losing them would be in the 2022 Draft.

Do the Rams have any comp picks this year? Or did they lose them by signing Floyd and Robinson?

However they add up?

I guess Bonifay’d gave a nice account.

Still wonder what The Rams will lose in Free Agency in 2021 & what they get back in 2022.

The Rams did well with Fowler who they picked up for a 3rd(2nd) pick.Got Jefferson for Cooks on similar type of trade.

Cory Littleton was a Home-Grown udfa.
Williams & Hill will be interesting decisions.

Did we gain a 3rd round comp pick for losing Staley to the Chargers?

I think the limit on 3rd round picks from coaching is 2 in 1 year and 1 the next.

I dunno how they combine with 3rd round comps from players.

Ya, if we max out on Minority hire "comp picks", in one off season, can they give us a comp pick the following year? Say if the rumours are correct and Lions do hire Ray Agnew can the NFL give us a comp pick next season ('22)??? I would think this makes sense, but I'm not the sharpest knife in the draw, LOL

We will get a pick for Holmes, but not Ray right?

No we do not get one for Ray. It is only for minority candidates who get promotions to a head coaching position or primary general manager.

The employer-club of a minority employee who has been hired by another club as its Head Coach or Primary Football Executive (General Manager) shall receive Draft choice compensation in the form of a compensatory Draft pick in the third round in each of the next two Drafts for an employee hired as either a Head Coach or Primary Football Executive, or for the next three Drafts if it has two employees hired for both positions.

I think the limit on 3rd round picks from coaching is 2 in 1 year and 1 the next.

I dunno how they combine with 3rd round comps from players.

They are after player comp picks. So Holmes being hired doesn't effect any comp picks we'd get for players and vice versa. And comp picks received via a coach or GM hire will be after all player comp picks in the draft order of all teams. So if we get a third rounder for Fowler's contract it'll be in the first set of comp picks after normal third round picks and than our pick for Holmes hiring will be after those.

If Staley had been a minority we would have received a third comp pick for three straight years instead of two.

I wonder what happens with Wolford?
I don’t think he is trade able. This Rams QB room will have a different flavor to it in 2021.
The Rams develope players.D.Williams or Troy Hill? Do The Rams get anything for these 2 CB’s?

Does JJ get The Rams any draft picks ?David Long,Nick Scott, & Rapp will be coming into there 3rd season.Fuller & Burgees 2nd season

Funny how The Rams already worked out a Big Trade with Detroit. The Rams will have to continue to work on getting more comp picks & continue there success in The NFL Drafts without ever seeing First RD draft Picks.

Thanks - so Robinson was a Wash with Greg the Leg.

3rd rd for Fowler
4th rd for Littleton

Not bad - I think The Rams will do a lot better in 2022 than this 2021 draft.
That will be The First Comp Picks of McSneads start in 2017 draft.

Amazing the difference over the years & how McVays coaching staff has coach players up. Best example is Joyner. Still The Rams depth was so Bad that they had to Tag both Tru Johnson & Joyner. Now look at The Players The Rams could loss with the
DB postition.

As The 2020 season ends The Rams will have a few FA players leaving.

Still wondering The Comp picks.

Floyd
JJ
G.Everett
D.Williams
T.Hill
Ebukham
Reynolds
Blythe
Fox
Brown

There is a good core group of players built from McSneads first draft.

You max out at 4 picks gor players Absolute best case scenario for 22'

Floyd - 3
J.Johnson - 3
**Holmes - 3 (Addition to thr 4 players)
T.Hill - 4 (CBs get overvalued)
Everett - 5 (might get a higher deal based on potential)

And anyone we sign will likey be offset by guys like Ebukam, Brown, Blythe, or Fox, since I don't see us signing any big name guys

The Rams I believe need to trade Rob Havenstien for let’s say a 4th/5th rd pick in 2021. Brockers as well would bring Cap relief say for a 6th?

Then that could potentially open up a spot to sign maybe Marvin Lewis.

The Rams have a lot of Ascending LBers, but finding depth will be huge.
O”Lineman will depend on who is available in the draft & scouting.

okay then The Rams need to resign
D.Williams. Rapp , Long replace JJ &T.Hill .
Hopkins & Jefferson replace
Reynolds & Everett. Then with Comp picks from 2021 I believe they need to continue to rebuild with Best Players available by postition.

The 1 position of need is a Pure OLB/DE pass rusher. These next 2 seasons are the biggest will see in Comp Picks.2022 for 2023 will be very minimal.
