Guys, this was a frustrating one.

But the thing is, we beat not only a GREAT team, but a divisional rival when we didn’t play at our best on offense.

We have a complete team that can bail out the other side of the ball.

Sometimes, that’s how these games go.

Absolutely huge win and plenty to improve upon. I think this galvanizes us on offense.

He's been lights out and locking down receivers since the first Whiners game. It isn't just since we traded for McCreary; we're getting a first-round pick who wants to silence his doubters and prove those who thought he was a bust wrong.
It was a great matchup. JSN isn't big and physical enough to muscle out Forbes, and Forbes has great wheels and stayed in phase with JSN.
It's the bigger, more physical guys that are a tougher matchup.

This is all that matters. And we ain’t giving it up.

We won ugly but sometimes that happens. Now, I suspect we’re going to win a couple pretty games as well as a couple more uglies.

Just win - baby!

Who’da though we’d be 8-2 at this point?

Seattle defense buckled down after the Rams 2nd TD. Pretty much shut down the run game after that. Need to study that and improve.
For sure. I'm baffled why the passing game wasn't there after they committed to shutting down the running game.

Why? Well I sure as shit don't know.
Maybe he made a deal with the football gods back in 2020.
"We're 0-13 and we're in LA to play the Rams. It would be perfect. A California kid in LA, where I played my college football. I'd give anything to beat them for our first win of the season......in front of a lot of people I played ball with. Anything"
"Okay, you win. But you'll never beat them again, even playing on a team other than the Jets. Which reminds me. You won't be with them very long anyway, so think hard"
"Lets do it"

It’s a long season and we already lost Puka for a game. I’d rather him not lead the league in targets/catches but absolutely dominate in the playoffs and Super Bowl. He still had 7 catches.
What, when did he get his 2nd catch, deep in the 3rd quarter ? Almost desperation time.
I was yelling at the TV, Puka has only one catch for a lot of the game.
What I am saying is he should have gotten more targets in the first half in 11 and that game might not have been so close at the end.
We should have won comfortably.
Taking Puka and Devonte out of chunk plays in the middle of the field playing around with 13 is not the best move IMO.
I think it might take McVay a bit to dial in when and where to use his new 13 toy. Although it would have been great to see Terrance run past some fool LB for a big play. Me likes that !
Puka is CLUTCH on 3rd down and we were terrible at it for 2/3 rds of the game. He is a 1st down machine.
I don't want him getting 20 targets and 15 receptions all the time. I want him available when we need him too.
