Hopefully they insert him for Reeder

I have awarded Reeder the Annual Blythe Matador Award

Gulp - Now I have Blythe and Reeder after me

This is a big addition back to the roster. He can sit out this week, but hopefully can play next week. I definitely would put him at MLB with Jones that will stop the run D problems cold. Plus he can blitz. The issue is is he effective covering the short middle? He is 6'4" 248 which is a good size and weight for a ILB. Denver worked him out at ILB as well as OLB.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much. They couldn't get their hands on you if you were wrapped in velcro.

Not sure why people think he's gonna play MLB? Did mcVay ever allude to it?
Just ppl putting 2 and 2 together, since Hollins has played ILB before for Denver.

And since we're set at OLB and have a major need at ILB.

Kinda surprised no one has asked McVay yet about moving Hollins to ILB since it's so obvious we have a need there.

Here's an old article about Hollins at ILB for Denver:

Ok so we have zero evidence that mcVay is gonna move him there. Got it.

If Floyd, Miller, Lewis and Obo are healthy, Justin Hollins may not be used as much as an Edge-rusher. However, he may be used inside in passing situations, instead of Reeder who I just don’t think is effective in space.

Yes, agreed. Zero evidence but fans hoping for it. Sure makes sense that the Rams would consider the switch though.

Hollins played some ILB with the Broncos.
I don't see him playing Reeder's spot anytime.. but what I do think we could see is him put out in space on passing downs.. which we have seen before. We've also seen him in coverage.. I remember a specific rep against the Bucs with him running stride for stride with Gronk down the sideline.
His length and athletic ability and experience off the LOS should make him a piece to work into those situations when he's back. You want your best players on the field as much as possible.

I realized I screwed something up.. I don’t see Hollins taking Reeder’s spot on running downs, but could see him put in on passing downs.

Please Bench Troy Reeder, my 55 year old heart can't take it anymore! He even messes up on special teams and Reeder is single handedly making me not like the Fighting Blue Hens of Delaware.
