I agree. Still believe the overall talent is below average but I am thrilled (and pleasantly surprised) that they have been competitive week-in and week-out.

Seriously, the Rams are good enough to beat most teams if they play great football, but who does that week in and week out? Overall, I’d say they’ve been better than at least half the league.
The schedule they have opened with has been difficult. The steelers and cowboys games will be telling—for all three teams.
The Steelers are in a tough division and even though they have looked mediocre at times, the have a couple big wins already.
The cowboys have destroyed 3 crappy teams. They appear overrated, especially at QB.
The Rams have one big win to hang their hat on, but having an off-season to prepare for a familiar opponent helps. The close calls and heartbreaking misses give both confidence/hope while also causing trepidations over who they really are.
The next two games will clear up a few things for a few teams.
