Only if Les or Sean come out and say if they did. And they likely won't do that because it'll get to the players they'd have replaced. We might hear that they did but I doubt we do about whom.anyway to find out who they put claims on?
Waiting for you to list decent players.... Doctson can't catch and is a major disappointment yet he doesn't even touch the level of bad that is Treadwell.Lot of decent players cleared waivers.... Josh Doctson..Laquan Treadwell just to name a couple..

Well, I’m surprised that the Broncos saw our two released quarterbacks and made a claim on Allen but not on Wolford. I’m blown away. Not surprised those players were claimed. Obviously, everyone saw how good they were. Wish them the best of luck. Can’t keep them all, unfortunately.
Seems as if the forum was divided on these guys, I’d vote for Wolford, but I liked Allen too. Truth is, we had three guys backing up Goff, who were better than our former backup.Well, I’m surprised that the Broncos saw our two released quarterbacks and made a claim on Allen but not on Wolford. Pretty good landing spot for Hodge tbh.
Agreed. And tbh I think it demonstrates how slight the difference is between players at this level. So much comes down to scheme, fit, and utilization. Somewhere in that mix is the rationale for Denver, but yeah it's crazy to my eye as well and I think they chose poorly.Well, I’m surprised that the Broncos saw our two released quarterbacks and made a claim on Allen but not on Wolford. I think Peterson could have bumped Hill, but again I wonder if they viewed him as a zone CB and a guy that would struggled in the press coverage that they want to play.
No IMO what kept Troy Hill on the roster is his contract. He's beginning his 5th year and has only one good year to show. Last year when Talib went down, it was clear Hill was no starting CB. He was repeatedly burned and struggled badly. Yet the team extended him early for 2 years. I posted that thread about the limited cap for a reason. It showed how it affects the roster. Hill has a dead cap of over $2M and that is why he's on the roster. It's the same reason Roby-Coleman is on the roster, i.e. his contract.
The Rams have "outs" next year on both Hill and Roby-Coleman. I think both will be on the bubble this year and must improve their play. Nickell's ego has led to a number of blown coverages because he's looking for a splash play and not playing the scheme (obviously Peter's negative influence). People only remember the last PI but he got burned more than that one time for the same reason in that game. This is why Darius Williams is on the roster. If Nickell continues to play that way, he will be benched. Same thing with Hill with Long on the roster.
I would expect the Rams to draft a CB somewhere in rounds 1-3 next year or try to sign a young CB such as Ronald Darby. The Rams depth at CB is IMO marginal, and not as good as they publicly proclaim. Talib has never played an entire season in his career so it's a matter of when not if he goes down. Troy needs to step up and play better than he did last year.
