In 2000, Titans coach Jeff Fisher made linebacker Keith Bulluck a first-round draft pick. Thirteen years later, Fisher has called on Bulluck to help Fisher’s latest first-round linebacker get acclimated to the NFL.

According to veteran NFL and Rams reporter Howard Balzer, Bulluck will spend several days at training camp, working with first-round linebacker Alec Ogletree.

A top-10 talent who slid down the board due to conduct issues, Ogletree could end up being a steal for the Rams, if he gets himself pointed in the right direction on and off the field.

Bulluck, a great player with an impeccable reputation, can help on both fronts.

It’s another smart move from a Rams organization that went 2-1-1 against the 49ers and Seahawks last season, and that could disrupt things at the top of the NFC West this season.

WOW! One of the smartest moves by a football team I've heard in a long time.

Wow simply love this by fisher. Bullock was not only a class act but an awsome mlb and team captain for the titans. His work out routines off season were legendary

Stroke of genius from Fisher given that Ogletree has been compared to Bulluck already. Great set of minds running this football team.

It would not surprise me if the 36 yr old retired LB'er Bullock suite up again when working one on one with Tree.

That's interesting. Wonder what they're working on in terms of on the field stuff?

Most likely hands .. shedding blocks ... angles .. key reads

Just another small move on our way to the top boys!!!!!!!!!!!!! :ww:

Fish said that 'Tree reminded him of Keith on Draft Night 1. This is the simple but most important extra step of a players' coach getting one of his favorites to work with his young protegé. Obviously, the Fisher king wants at least two impact rookies this year: Tavon & 'Tree. Don't be surprised if other rooks step it up. 8-)

Yeah, there are a few coaches that do that. Bring in retired players that still have a hunger for the game and let them give individual coaching sessions to rookies. Smart move. Holt & Bruce have volunteered a little time too, so now all we need is for Faulk to get his ass in here and coach up the backs.

Ya would think that after what Fish did last year alone in restoring respectability to the Rams franchise, especially in with the NFC West opponents alone, would make any former Ram willing to lend a helping hand. :bg:

Great move by a great football mind...We are heading in the right direction with Snisher fellas!
